For everyone in the mall, we've got an idea to get through to the food court. It's dangerous, so if you've got any input, I'm all ears.
We get a small team to the roof. One person will hang over the zombies, kind of like a pinata, and hit at them to distract them. That person will be secured by two ropes--one that someone will pull them up with, and another anchored to the building itself as a backup. We'll also need at least a third person to help defend their backs if any zombies get up there, and possibly a sniper to help thin out their ranks. This will help distract the zombies away from a team heading across the courtyard--a fast team with good enough armor.
It looks like we can get to the roof through the air vents. But they look rusty, so you've got to make sure you've got some kind of protection to get up there. I know my Ranger suit should be able to make it, and we might use J as our pinata since he's a robot. But if there's anyone else on-board with this idea, please let me know.
