In case anyone was wondering, I make a pretty fantastic getaway driver. Not that I'm particularly fond at being shot at.

I thought I'd post something before the community decided to get post-happy on me and put up something I'd rather not have floating around the internet right now. (Or ever, really.)

But anyway, how was your evening?

I'd say the part about getting shot at would give you a clue.

Well, did anybody actually get hurt? Otherwise they might've as well been throwing pies.

Pies are significantly less terrifying than bullets, whether the hit or not.

Lots of people are scared of clowns throwing pies.

I really don't think that makes the threat of bullets any less terrifying.

I'd be a better getaway car driver then. I'm not scared of bullets.

I'd advise against it. It'd probably just give you a million heart attacks in the end.

I'm already dead, it's not like I'd have to worry about that.

An excellent point. I don't know what good a giant diamond would do in that case, though.

I could beam a laser through it and make some kind of weapon to take over the world with.

Taking over the world would get boring and complicated.

Oh, fair. Not choking in an air vent in a zombie-infested mall is always nice.

Yours sounds like it was a bit eventful. Would it be prying too much to ask what you were getting away from that got you shot at?

Oh yeah. Going from a zombie B-film to a car chase was quite the adventure, let me tell you.

The short of it is that we were being chased by some guys who don't really like us because we have something they want. I can't really go into more detail than that.

Oh, I always love it when that happens, though in my world it's generally with arrows rather than bullets.

Bullets. Arrows. Either way I'd really love it if my life was never at risk again.

Doesn't seem likely at this point, though.

Once your life gets interesting it has a nasty tendency to stay that way, doesn't it?

Hopefully not for too long. It's interesting every once in a while, but continuously? Not so much.

Then how about a game of hot and cold? Let's see... You're not a very braggy guy so for you to say that, the last thing we talked about...well, the last thing that didn't involve zombies, went down well?

Relatively speaking. We're one step closer, anyway.
