[open log]
[It's almost the weekend! What with all the holiday parties, the end of semester parties, the it's the weekend parties, and the party parties coming up, you might just feel the need for a new outfit. In which case, Ayako's shop ("boutique," she'll insist), conveniently located in a nice old storefront next to campus, might be just the place you're looking for! They have dresses, blouses, skirts, and trousers. There are even some clothes for men- if you guys feel comfortable trying to get into jeans that skinny. It's not cheap, definitely, but the prices aren't really exorbitant.

If you come in, you might be helped by the proprietress herself, or one of her two employees- Mai and Pearl. Or maybe all three. You might feel the need to say hello to a friend who's also shopping, or maybe you're only here because a friend dragged you. And, of course, it's possible you'll have to stop that jerk over there from getting the last pair of size 10 black jeans.

Has anyone seen Taniyama Mai, Monk, or John Brown on here? I can't remember their usernames, but I need to talk to them.

[accidental video]
[I'm afraid you get a link to the video for this one. The relevant part is from around 7:45 to 10:18. For those of you who don't want to watch, this is more or less what happens:

Ayako, in full miko garb, stands in front of three large rocks and places a branch with a bell hanging from it in front of the center rock while Mai ([personal profile] brokethecamera), Monk ([personal profile] monk_n_roll), and John ([personal profile] principio) look on. Ayako recites a supplication, followed by the Shinto Kuji, which causes the bell to ring. Spirits emerge from the surrounding trees dissolve, flowing into the branch and making the bell ring more times. But then, zombie-looking spirits start appearing and approaching from the surrounding area! Ayako coolly picks the branch up and turns to the zombie-like guys, saying "Come, the time for you to sleep has arrived at last." One of the zombie-ghosts looks like it's going to attack her, but she just waves the branch and it dissolves! As she continues to wave the branch, the spirits vanish with each ring of the bell. Soon they're all gone. Behind Ayako, dark forms begin to rise out of the three rocks. Mai sees these and calls out to Ayako, who turns, holding the branch in front of her. The bell rings, and the dark forms disappear, leaving the rocks to split open. Ayako puts the branch back in the ground in front of the middle rock, spreads her arms, and claps. The string holding the bell to the branch undoes itself, and the bell falls to the ground. Ayako breathes out slowly. Behind her, an amazed Monk comments "She didn't need us, all right."

Can you believe that someone would renovate a house to put rooms inside of rooms? I had to climb through inside windows today.

[it's a shibuya paranormal research outing in the park!  how nice!  friends getting along, enjoying the fresh air, mai, monk, ayako, and john completely soaked and grimacing as a tall boy dressed entirely in black looks with indifference and a small girl dressed in a kimono looks as if she's laughing fiendishly....

wait, what?

When you have evidence that someone's causing damage and you could be the next victim, don't you think you should do something?

Ducks? I know this is the internet, but there has to be something better to talk about than that.

Just tell me how to get rid of this, I'd rather be doing something useful with my time.
