Ciao everyone! Halloween is coming almost here and I wanted to show you the costume I picked out. Some classmates of mine are having a party...and I'm going!

[She grins broadly before stepping away. The full view reveals that Izumi is wearing a costume. She spins, causing the skirt to twirl. She laughs giddily and winks at the camera.]

So, what do you think? It's my first time going to a party with my classmates, so I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

It is! I paid attention to detail and there's a lot of cute things now that I can add to it later, but a basic outfit will work for me.

Are you going to do anything special for the holiday?

I'm hoping to hook up with some people from the community and go trick or treating with them. Other than that, I think my family is dressing up for the occasion. It's December here in my world so we have to go hop worlds to do this.

Woah, really? It was like that for me for a while. It was summer and everyone else was in winter!

It's actually a week before Christmas for me! So I've also gotten Christmas Presents for everyone!

Even for people here?

Yeah! It's something I wanted to do actually. So people should find them delivered soon by my family. They've got worldhopping access now. But they're not on the community.

Huh, really? I don't think I've ever heard of that happening before.

[lil_tanuki]

Yeah, it's pretty nice. They have their own way of getting around worlds.

[fairyofwind]

So your family knows about the community then?

[lil_tanuki]

They're aware, tangentially. They know that friends and family from other worlds come here but they don't know the specifics of the community.

Wow. I haven't told my parents anything about other worlds or the community. I don't think they'd believe me if I did.

It is kind of confusing, but my family is kind of unique in that regard, since they're able to move between worlds at a whim.

Is that...

Well, I mean, is it a natural ability?

[lil_tanuki]

Kind of. They're magic you see, and have the ability to move between worlds for as long as I've known them.

[fairyofwind]

And they've always had those powers?

[lil_tanuki]

That's right. Apparently its higher math for most of these powers, knowing coordinates and spacial stuff. I'm not entirely certain how it works out but it's a lot of calculus.

Huh. That's pretty cool, actually.

[lil_tanuki]

Yep. And it helps me contact people all the time too! So its really useful.

[fairyofwind]

Yeah. Even if you lost connection to the community you'd still be able to go see people.

[lil_tanuki]

Which I wouldn't want to happen really. But it might one of these days.

[fairyofwind]

I don't think many people here would. We've made too many friends.

[lil_tanuki]

Yeah there's so many people I would miss. I love everyone here.

Well, let's just hope that never happens, then!
