Work on the space colony's been going well. Looking back at Earth from way out here is strange, sometimes. I can't help thinking of home and the people I left back there. Things are a lot quieter, I guess, than they were a few years ago. It's better that way. It's more peaceful at least.

I think... it gets lonely, is all, now and then. A lot. Everyone I work with is very nice, though, I get on well with them all. I just want Louise here with me... it doesn't feel right without her. But we made a promise so... I'll have to wait here however long it takes.
