Really?! I don't think so! This is not the Loch Ness monster. This is a great disappointment if you ask me! All this is...is some giant worm or snake. I want to say it resembles a snake more then anything. Talk about a let down. People get so hyped up over things and are so quick to label it when there's not enough proof to back it up. And they say our paper is a tabloid.

This is as bad as the zombie apocalypse running around the internet. It's pretty bad when the government has to come out and make an actual announcement over it and then deny being involved. Typical.

What's next guys? I think it's time to bring out the dice and roll out my fate.

Hey, not all reports of the zombie apocalypse are fictitious. What year are you from?

It's been going on for twenty-six years around here. But, since you asked...

[She'll attach a video clip or two of real live zombie action. Moaning, shuffling, attempting to eat the flesh of the living, etc.]

If you're from my world you'd have two years until it starts. You're probably not, though.

A couple of manmade viruses- a Marburg virus that was designed to cure cancer and a cure for the common cold that was released before it was fully tested. They combined and we wound up with the living dead on our hands.

Well, one of the reasons so many of us survived is that it played out fairly similarly to fictional scenarios. People usually knew what to do when faced with hordes of the undead.

As much as I hate to admit it, a lot of journalists prefer high ratings to actually telling the truth.

Typical of them. Only believe something like that if it's right in front of their eyes.

How have you been?

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-06-20 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Waiting for this month to be over. Though you have no idea how glad I am to see you Langly.

Loch Ness is in Scotland, correct? Not Iceland?

Perhaps it is real and their Nessie-esque creature just happened to resemble an overly large snake? Given the different locations I wouldn't think that's all that unlikely.
