Yeah, I got dumped. But hey, if she thought we were better as friends, who am I to argue? We at least still got to work together.

Well nuts to that. Sorry you got dumped but at least you have good memories of it.

It's just the way she was, you know? I wanted something more serious, she didn't. And she made it clear she'd ask to be reassigned to another department if I didn't respect her wishes, so yeah. I just tried to keep my feelings to myself, not let them get in the way of our relationship.

Ah, I got dumped. Nothing big--she just didn't want anything as serious as I did.

...Actually, now that you bring that up, I have to make some adjustments on the avatar. I know I was able to moonwalk in my own body, but it's not coming out right here.

So can you adjust your Avatar to have certain specific talents or only things you capable of doing in your own body?

Of course I am!

Not really for talents. It's all based off my own body movements, to make it feel as natural as possible. That's why my fighting style consists a lot of jumping on people.

So it's about experiencing the world in a way that's realistic for you. Does that include sensations?

Yeah, but it's always a little incomplete. Like, I can eat or drink, but it'll just break down into data and be deleted eventually. It's not feeding me. If I drink a beer, I'll taste it, but I can't get drunk. Which can either be a good thing or a bad thing.

I guess understanding it would mean walking a mile in your shoes, it's a little confusing.
