So, community... I have it on good authority that today is one Yuri Tsukikage's birthday. No, I'm not telling you where I got my information- [Tsubomi's grandmother?] -other than that she was the nicest old lady. [Totally Tsubomi's grandmother.]

Anyway, the notice is far too late to actually set up anything big - I don't care who we put on the job, we'd never get done in time - but we can certainly wish her well and maybe get something small put together for her by the evening. I'm going to try and get Tsubomi and Erika together to plan something, but I don't know what we'll come up with, if anything.

That's why I want to ask - any good ideas for a celebration on maybe an hour or two's notice?

I will; thank you. I'll have to keep the date in mind for next year, though. Community-time or otherwise, since I missed it either way.

She does. Tsukikage-san puts up with a lot of crap from us, I admit. If I'd had more notice, we could have come up with something big.

...I don't know how she'd take dinner with us, though. A food gift is workable... hmm.

Well ideas are great, but you need to remember some people will just auto-delegate things to themselves cause we've got skills in the kitchen, remember? I figure we may as well take at least one thing off your hands.

True enough. And heaven forbid I try to go to a shop, I'd never get anything in time, let alone anything good.

...I see myself having issues with not turning into a blimp, being friends with Minamino-san. How do you manage it?

Yeah, this last minute is going to be tough to get a cake that isn't from the Lucky Spoon.

What kind of activity are you doing - our usual business aside - that you're so active? Fighting every few days is great and all, but it doesn't explain cupcakes on a daily basis having no effect.

Well when I get up in the morning, I go for a run that lasts about an hour. Then I have a full breakfast. During school its sports, and then after school I do whatever with Kanade, and then I go for supper and then another run, and then some aerobics...

And people tell me I work too hard. All that on top of being a magical superhero? I'm kind of a special case, but that's a commendable workload.

What can I say? I like my exercise. It's one of the things I like doing the most. That, and I fill in for a lot of clubs too, so it varies from day to day.

Sounds like a busy life. A lot of my time is taken up with the dojo and student council business, so I don't get as much free time as I'd like, but... I'm working on that.

I'm sure you can free up your time if you really wanted to. it would be nice and all to get out once in a while.

I'm not sure we have time - between needing worldhops, having to figure out where she is, getting everyone on the same page, and that kind of thing, it'll just be a pain to get together. I appreciate the offer, but I think we should try and handle this one ourselves.

About the parties, it could just be funny timing. There was that ball with Edgar, and then the party Kendrix held where I got her lots of fruit and vegetables, and now this.

But if people are happy, then that's a good thing.

That's what I'm thinking... something simple, maybe just getting together with her and spending time trying not to annoy her. I'll have to ask around and see what she likes.

Timing sounds like the best excuse on the number of parties lately, though. It's pretty much the only explanation, in fact.

It's a good excuse. [Stanley nods.] But, I don't think it is a good thing to have parties all of the time, even if people are having fun.

That's... probably also true. A number of people have major conflicts in their own worlds they need to be prepared to deal with. Parties every day aren't a good way to do that.

I can understand why. Erika is a law unto herself. I had to hide every box of confetti I knew of for miles around. But I don't think you'll have to worry about things today. I suspect they both know I can provide a suitable chastisement if something should happen.

And it's not like anyone on this community observes local time, anyway. The apparent date on the community is all that matters. So... close enough. Besides, we missed it going the other way.

I suppose that's true. It can hardly be expected for people to start memorizing what time everyone is on, with so many different worlds here. And, well... we didn't really know each other back then, so that's hardly strange. But I do appreciate the thought.
