So, community... I have it on good authority that today is one Yuri Tsukikage's birthday. No, I'm not telling you where I got my information- [Tsubomi's grandmother?] -other than that she was the nicest old lady. [Totally Tsubomi's grandmother.]
Anyway, the notice is far too late to actually set up anything big - I don't care who we put on the job, we'd never get done in time - but we can certainly wish her well and maybe get something small put together for her by the evening. I'm going to try and get Tsubomi and Erika together to plan something, but I don't know what we'll come up with, if anything.
That's why I want to ask - any good ideas for a celebration on maybe an hour or two's notice?

Well, maybe grab some cupcakes or something? I don't know what would be good for gifts so late on notice. Maybe chip in to get her dinner?

...I don't know how she'd take dinner with us, though. A food gift is workable... hmm.

...wait, you're making a cake to give her yourselves, then? I wanted ideas, not solutions. I want to do at least some of the work myself.

...I see myself having issues with not turning into a blimp, being friends with Minamino-san. How do you manage it?
no subject
Me? I burn off all that I eat and then some. Why do you think I'm so skinny?

What kind of activity are you doing - our usual business aside - that you're so active? Fighting every few days is great and all, but it doesn't explain cupcakes on a daily basis having no effect.

Well when I get up in the morning, I go for a run that lasts about an hour. Then I have a full breakfast. During school its sports, and then after school I do whatever with Kanade, and then I go for supper and then another run, and then some aerobics...

And people tell me I work too hard. All that on top of being a magical superhero? I'm kind of a special case, but that's a commendable workload.

*Stanley thinks for a moment*
- I can even help with decorations, if you tell me what you'd like.
*Stanley smiles.*
There sure are a few parties going on lately. Heehee!

...I have noticed that there are a lot of parties right now, though. I wonder why?

Stanley scritches his chin.]
Maybe you can talk about and share in her favourite things? [Of course, Stanley is completely clueless about Yuri...]
About the parties, it could just be funny timing. There was that ball with Edgar, and then the party Kendrix held where I got her lots of fruit and vegetables, and now this.
But if people are happy, then that's a good thing.

Timing sounds like the best excuse on the number of parties lately, though. It's pretty much the only explanation, in fact.

That doesn't mean they can't visit and help each other! [No really, Stanley?]

I'll try it. No promises, but I owe her that much.

Happy birthday.
no subject
Well, technically my birthday was a while ago, what with the whole community time difference. But... thank you.

And it's not like anyone on this community observes local time, anyway. The apparent date on the community is all that matters. So... close enough. Besides, we missed it going the other way.

I suppose that's true. It can hardly be expected for people to start memorizing what time everyone is on, with so many different worlds here. And, well... we didn't really know each other back then, so that's hardly strange. But I do appreciate the thought.

Well, I'm definitely happy with helping out... though I don't know what we can really do that's able to be set up in an hour.
