Canon Bump - Busy Week For Kanon Town

It's been a rather ridiculous last few days to be honest, over here in Kanon Town. First off, the new Precure Cure Muse had shown up again, but instead of helping us completely, she also released all of the notes that both we and Trio the Minor gathered instead of giving them to us for safe care.

And then that's not the tip of it. Trio the Minor accused her of being Seiren, but considering she doesn't talk at all, we couldn't peg her down at all. Of course THAT got debunked the moment that Seiren and Muse were in the same place at the same time, and that's even after Hummy almost brought her over to our side.

Yeah, Seiren ALMOST came over to our side but then she decided against us. Hummy isn't sad though, after we gave her some cupcakes. Still though, this is getting annoying.

We then tried flushing her out at school but no one responded, and we had a lot of false leads. And of course Seiren took advantage of it and turned into Muse. She threw our Modules into the ocean, but Hummy was able to retrieve them so we could fight her. The real Muse showed up after that and fought the fake one.

In all, it's been a lot of frustration lately, and a whole lot of head scratching. Anyone have thoughts on this sort of thing?

That all sounds really eventful. I wish I could help, but stuff like this kind of goes over my head.

...what do you mean when you say that Seiren 'almost' came over to your side, though? She changed her mind?

Well, Hummy had run into her her earlier, and somehow according to her convinced Seiren to join our side. But... the problem is that somehow she changed her mind, and has decided to fight us once more. This was clear when she tried to steal our Cure Modules.

Are you sure she changed her mind? It's likely that she never intended to join your side to begin with. She was probably lying from the start.

I dunno I... I trust Hummy on this. I worry that some foul play has been done with this.

I see. Well, if you say so, I'll trust your judgement. I don't know enough about everyone involved to really speculate.

But... People don't just change sides that easily, I think.

[wildmelody]

Well, I'm trusting Hummy more than my own judgment at least. It's a give and take.

I know, but there's no sense in not worrying about it, right?

You must trust her a lot, then. She could have simply been tricked as well, though. Seiren tried to win your trust once before, didn't she?

I guess. Just... make sure you're not too trusting. I'd hate for you to get hurt.

Hummy's one of my friends. And I've been privy to some of Seiren's real feelings once before when she masqueraded as Sakura, a transfer student so yeah she did. But I think there's real feelings there.

I'll keep it in mind. I worry more about Hummy than myself.

Is everyone's life getting overly complicated these days, or just us?

I think it might be everyone. Not only Hummy's worried about her friend, but we're no closer to finding out who Muse is.

Pretty much. I guess there's something about Hummy that brings out a softer, gentler side of her.

Well I heard they're from Major Land which is apparently a fairy world... inhabited by humans.

Humans and fairies? Or fairies that look like humans?

Humans and fairies. Like, their queen Aphrodite is a very pretty lady.

Why can't anything on our world ever be easy? We get our powers separately, we've got a bunch of candidates for our next Precure and they were all wrong, Muse let all of our Notes go...! Ugh, it's so frustrating!

I know, it's driving me insane as well. What side is Muse on anyhow? She doesn't seem to do anything but antagonize or help each side. Sometimes both.

Uh...

[ Usagi sounds a little sheepish for sure at all of this, really, but she's trying to think.. ]

I'd give you some thoughts, but.. um.. it sounds really complicated!

It's admittedly kind of complicated and all, Usagi. I'm surprised I got it.

[selene]

There's some enemy who wanted to join you but didn't.. something like that..?

[wildmelody]

Yeah, Seiren. She's Hummy's friend.

[selene]

Why won't they join you though if they're already friends? That makes no sense!

[wildmelody]

It just seems more complicated, like Seiren wanted to be friends and then not. Those two have a strange relationship.

I see, I see, it's almost like those kind of people you hear about having relationship therapy..! [ Don't pretend like you know all about it, Usagi. ]
