Canon Bump - Getting Worse

[It's an interior shot of the Yagami household as the briefest motion of green and yellow was seen, as Shamal exited her room, almost too indistinguishable to be recognized due to the angle of the camera. Hayate is burning up, her cough getting worse as she clutches her chest.]

Sick again... how long has it been since my last cold...

[This really wasn't a cold, as she fumbles for the remote and turns off the light, only for her hand to seize up and drop it to the floor.] O-oh...

[The date of the calendar read Dec 15, just ten days before Christmas. It was going to be a fairly miserable Christmas if Hayate was feeling this way as she tried to sit up. The world seemed to swim for her as she fell back on her bed.]

S-so weak...

[There was a shuffling from her room door as another form barrelled inside, and the video cut off from there. But it was apparent, Hayate was getting worse.]

Ah, Aqua I... mmm, I guess I could use a visit if you really wanted to come by. I've been feeling pretty weak lately.

I can bring along a potion. It won't be enough for the illness, but it might help your energy a bit.

Terrible. But I'm pretty sure the whole community knows how bad I'm doing now.

[She can't say much to that, so she hands over the potion.]

Is there anything you need? Something to eat, maybe?

A little bit yes. Something salty for some reason, I'm feeling that. I think there's a bag of pretzels in the pantry. And some water to offset it?

Okay. I can make some soup or macaroni and cheese too.

That sounds like a good idea. I could eat definitely.

All right. I'll get the pretzels and start cooking. Just don't ruin your appetite.

Okay, that sounds good then.

[Some time later, she comes in with a bowl of macaroni and cheese with breadcrumbs on top.]

Hope you're still hungry.

It looks delicious, and I'm rather famished actually.

You know what they say about feeding fevers. Or maybe that's starve a fever, I can never remember.

The way I was taught, you need to keep up your strength either way. So eat up.

[Taking the fork, she started to pick up some of the food when a lance of pain thrust through her chest, and her hand spasmed, dropping the fork.] Owie...

[Aqua rushes closer.]

Are you okay?

It hurt... trying to grip the fork...

Do you want me to feed you?
