I need to cast a spell to make it taste better!

[If that isn't a strange enough way to open a video, Sena clad in a maid outfit, one that is too tight in a couple of places, only makes it all the more weird. With hair in pigtails, she certainly looks the part.]

Spell? [Kodaka, a boy with blonde hair tampering off with black streaks, asked. Fairly, most would say.]

Be yummy! [Making a heart symbol with her fingers, Sena begins to move back and forth.] Moe, moe, kyun! [And the big finish! One leg is raised in the air and left there. Haphazardly, as she doesn't seem to have the best balance.] Huh?

[The girl with short black hair and matching eyes is now a bit further away from Kodaka than she had been. Her stare promises death.]

Meat.

W-what is it, Master? [Sena's still threatening to topple over.]

Meat. [After a nervous laugh from Sena, the nickname is repeated again, this time with even more venom.]

[That seems to be the last straw, or maybe she just really lost her balance, as Sena promptly falls behind the table. When her head pops back up, tears stream down her face.]

I never went to a maid cafe on the weekend! [Embarrassed, she jumps up and flees the clubroom. Good thing the club meets after school.]

[ooc: Italics are Kodaka, bold is Yozora, normal is Sena despite how not normal she is. Also this is the video if you want to give it a go.]

They asked me to put it on and then was jealous that I was so much better at it! [But she's still sniffing. That had been so embarrassing.] I-it's just a maid cafe. People go there all the time.

Is that why you were so scared of your friend there?

Scared? [No one had ever used that word.] Why would I be scared of that fox?

...She's just stupid. It's okay to do something cute, so I don't care if she thinks I'm weird. [But she doesn't sound sure of any of that.]

Well, at the very least, you seemed intimidated.

You shouldn't have to care what anyone thinks. What you like only matters to you.

[She looks up.] People are usually jealous of me so it doesn't matter what they think. [She may tell the truth here sometimes.]

But if people don't like you, you can't get friends.

Well, I've always found it helps to be nice to other people to help make friends with them.

I am nice! I even put the costume on. It's not my fault they're jealous I looked better in it.

Well, if you keep saying that it's their problem, you're going to have a harder time befriending them. You've got to find out how to help them with their problems.

[Sena pulls her knees closer.]

I don't need friends like that. [But idly, she begins to draw circles.] I have better friends here.

You might not think you need them, but they might need you.

[She looks up at her, silently thinking for a second. For all of her talk, she doesn't really think that. None of them are actually nice to each other, after all.]

Eh... I do have more friends...but they're too stupid to listen to me, anyway.

It's hard for people to believe the community exists when they can't see it.

Even if they didn't believe that, they could listen to something else! [Before Sena had real friends, all of that had been easier to accept.]

I know, and it would be a lot easier if all our friends were on the community too. But at least you've got friends here too.

I have better friends, here. [Her demeanor seems to change, seems to soften.] They always believe me.

Sometimes, that's enough to help.

It's the most important. Who needs friends there when I have the best friends here?

That's some relief, at least. But there are good people in every world. Maybe one day, you'll find someone you want to be friends with there.
