The Joker? A villain in the Batman comic series; I find that comics lack that je ne sais quoi quality about them - it lacks finesse, some sort imagination or half an intellect to form something. People who read or write them have no lives, no jobs; leeches on the market, all of them.

Holmes had less regard for public opinion. In order be a complete instrument of justice, you need to do what the people need, not necessarily what they want. Wattson's opinions were noted, but hardly important.
