(no subject)

A ... electric observation, if you would. Odd things happen when your chauffeur is currently an animal and some quack has forbidden you to drive. You're left watching movies on the movie channel that isn't in "English". However, I was reminded of the dear Prosecutor Miles when I saw this:

to the British MI Agent from four decades ago:

Groovy, I believe was the catch phrase. My old man's spirit contacted me from a cesspool, Miles. He wants his suit back.

[ooc; GOING TO THE MOVIES. B-by the way? Referring Edgeworth to his dad, that's a pretty insulting insult. o/]

[Restrains herself from laughing] I never realized ...

... I much preferred his old suit, anyway ...

...Wow. That certainly is... eye-catching.

...Excessively so. People actually wear that sort of thing?

...Then again, in retrospect, it's not too bad compared to some of the people around here.

I guess Mr. Edgeworth must... but it sounds like he doesn't wear it anymore.

An example of a fashionable idea executed by someone with no sense of fashion.

Kitsch. And its lack of pretentiousness is the only thing that prevents it from attaining that title. Everything about that movie was what it claimed to be, and no more.

I can't speak for other Americans, but I consider it my duty to point out others' spelling errors so they don't embarrass themselves further by repeating them.

If you wish to rile me, ShinRa, perhaps you should come up with a more original way to go about it.

((OOC: OMG I'm so sorry but you know he's the type to point out people's spelling errors and be an ass about it. ._.))

Philanthropy isn't one of my dominating traits, but it does shine through on occasion.

It seems you still haven't found one.

((Lord knows they boh could use some of that. XD))

Most likely. As an agent of the judicial system, however, such traits are extremely useful.

'Toughing it out' is a bit of an exaggeration. You've yet to throw any punches worthy of such an effort.

You'll get only what effort you earn. Perhaps Wright would be willing to offer you some helpful advice on the subject.
samuraiprosecutor: (O RLY?)

[personal profile] samuraiprosecutor 2008-08-18 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
...Obviously there is much Wright could teach you about being a worthy opponent.
samuraiprosecutor: (Edgey shrug in court)

[personal profile] samuraiprosecutor 2008-08-18 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
As you will, then. If you ever realize how desperately you need the lessons, I'm sure either Wright or I will be willing to provide them.

I rarely lie. Those who would uphold truth should serve as examples of it.

The value of words as tools is something all leaders should recognize. What are actions without words to justify them? A man can only affect limited change on his own, and recruitment of others to his cause requires an ability to stir up support and inspire loyalty, belief, and obeisance.

Even my case files contain examples of men and women who knew the power of words.

I have no interest in debating philosophy with a man who can condone or engage in such activities. Hold your viewpoint; the less you learn about the strength inherent in words, the better for the people who are forced to deal with you.

...Though I will point out the importance of words in obtaining leeway for actions through convincing a community that you are a 'savior' or paragon.

The role certainly wouldn't suit you.
