Namely, there is still a Dyme living in the New York where I placed him, and he still has a heart.

You can check if you like, as I did not ten minutes ago.

The Demyx who recently joined the community is ALSO Demyx, but he is NOT the Demyx to whom I returned a heart. He is the same person, but the nature of the community, as you all know is extremely complicated, and I believe he is from the same world, yes, but at a different point in time. His choices will make him an entirely different being than the other Demyx... how is unknown, as the future always is.

So please, do not attempt to accuse me of betraying anyone or going back on my deal, I did nothing of the sort.

I do check on him periodically, it was part of the deal. And yes, he is doing very well. He has successfully established himself and appears to be very happy.

'Extremely complicated' indeed. I discovered this community some months ago, only to find that I, apparently, was already known to some of the members here. It has... caused some distinct tension, from one time to another.

That's alright. It's something that happened on this community some months ago. The previous Demyx was a well-liked member of the community, but his kind lacks hearts, and he desperately wanted one. He agreed to my offer of his heart in exchange for his memories of his life as he was without one.

Needless to say, the reappearance of Demyx is... slightly unnerving for many.

No, his nature is quite jovial and benevolent. I very rarely ever saw him angry, and even if this... new incarnation of him is perhaps different, his basic nature cannot change, unless drastic measures are taken.

Well, Mr. Sfondi, my system is one of equal exchange. The price is equal to the request in every respect... which often means that the cost is perhaps more than the... buyer was expecting. I do not deal merely in money, either.

For instance, when I returned the... previous Demyx's heart to him, I required in exchange all of his memories of the time when he did not have a heart. He was expecting a high price, but not perhaps something so specific. Many were understandably upset when he chose to accept, but I believe that if he could remember the bargain, he would be satisfied.
