I apologize to everyone here, but there has been a state of emergency declared in Haven City that, in one hour, will automatically shut down all electronics that can connect with the surface--including my computer.

I'm going to hope I can call this a hiatus, because if this computer doesn't come back online, it means . . . my People are doomed to extinction.

I've been assigned to look into the source of the problem. Holly Short, out.

EDIT: Disregard, false alarm, all systems are back up. All the same, I'm taking an extended "vacation" topside. I'll probably still be around, though, using Fowl's equipment.

mal_honnete) has used stolen fairy technology and accidentally pinged an LEP satellite. What this means for them? They have been found by the humans and have to go on lockdown. Our only safe haven has been found by the humans. We're on total lockdown. I wouldn't even be able to access this network right now, were I not with the police department.

The humans. They've found Haven City. One of our satellites was pinged, it's only a matter of time before they come down here.

Do you need any help?

Unless your people have some kind of powers to help save an entire civilization, then . . . the LEP will have to find a way to handle this. I just don't understand, we'd made plans for this sort of thing, but this is decades early . . . Human technology shouldn't have advanced so quickly.

We probably do, but you probably wouldn't like any of them... How did this happen?

How interesting. What group might you belong to, then? Vampire, perhaps?

I don't know. When we figure that out, maybe we'll find a way to counteract it.

If I just said we're being overrun by humans, what makes you think I'd want to let a human know what I am? The point is to live in secrecy.

I mean, we keep having situations where the outcome decides whether our civilization will even have a future. Ever since the Artemis Fowl incident.

There are a LOT of non-humans around here, Miss. Most of them don't seem to care.

Besides, why would I wish to? I'm a sky pirate, my beauty, I don't do invasions.
