I...I hope you will all forgive me for any mistakes I make here. This is my first time in a place like this, and I'm a bit frightened...but I'm sure that with so many people who seem so nice, everything will turn out just fine. I...I hope that we can all get along.

Thanks to everyone for helping me look through Connors' notes. I've interviewed Martha, as well, to try and get as much background information as possible.

Here's what I've managed to compile:

First, Connors' was already experimenting with the growth acceleration hormones and the gene binding agent on himself for at least six months prior to his transformation. That means, he's received an extremely high dosage of the formula over an extended period of time (compared to the lab rats that were administered much smaller dosages in proportion to their size).

Second, exposure to the gamma radiation emitted by the neogentic recombinator allows dormant genes to be "switched on" so that they will become dominant and expressive in an organism. Because the rats only received a small injection of reptilian DNA, they only expressed the regenerative capabilities of reptiles. But Connors' entire genetic structure has resequenced itself completely, so when he was exposed to the gamma rays, not only did the regenerative capabilities of the reptilian DNA become dominant, but other traits began to manifest, as well.

Third, based on the notes, the regeneration of his arm took only a few (if excruciatingly painful minutes) but his transformation into the Lizard was much slower in comparison.

Lastly, the mutation is still in progress. If we don't reverse the settings on the neogentic recombinator and "switch off" those reptilian genes ... all of the mammalian genes will be completely subsumed by the reptilian ones. And that means ... any hope of changing Connors back to human form will be lost. He'll remain as the Lizard ... forever.

I've plotted out all the areas where the Lizard was sighted and any sewer access points and storm drains nearby. I have to recover the neogenetic recombinator and save Connors. He's an innocent man, trapped in that monstrous body. I can't afford to let the police hurt him ... or worse.

If I don't respond within twenty four hours ... you'll know what's happened to me.

Hey there heroes, the cool cat is back! Sorry I haven't been logged in. The Preds keep getting up in our grills, and Dinobutt even managed to get us locked out of our own base! The last couple of quantum cycles've been total system lock.

Optimus wants us to keep monitoring this place in case anyone from our Cybertron shows up, so I'm gonna try to hang out here whenever I've got a few clicks between missions. Is Bumblebee still here?
