Didn't think I'd make a post like this...or even ever have this even happen...

For those of you who didn't know, Rider and I are together. Have been for some time now, and...well...I went and decided to take it one more step further.

And she said yes.

...nothing's planned out yet, since this just happened, so don't go leaping down our throats for information right now. But...well, I figured I'd let everyone know that we're engaged, seeing as we'd have never even met if it wasn't for this place.

I've come to know more than a few of you here on the community over my time here (which will actually be a year in March), and through this I've learned that many of the worlds are in their own sorts of trouble, from wars and strife to losses more personal. This is true even in my own as I know all too well.

But this is the time of year for forgetting troubles, even if just for a day or two. It'd be nice if it was spread throughout the year, but there's a time set aside for it, so it's experienced a little, at least.

With that thought, whether you actually celebrate Christmas or not, or any other holiday (or even if you don't know anything about them), I wish you all a Merry Christmas. And for those who need it, I certainly hope a little peace, even if only for a while, comes with it too.

This was totally a surprise, I mean, someone left me the present of every Digimon card currently available even the rarer ones. so when mom and grandma had no idea where they had come from, I did some research. Well does this guy really sneak into people's houses after watching them when they sleep, what is he, some kind of a per....

[Voice, sharply from off-camera] "Rika!"

I've been reading up on this "Christmas" everyone's been talking about, and it sounds like a lot of fun! Santa Claus brings presents to children, right? I promise I've been good. ♥

Brothers who forget that their baby sister is coming to stay with him should get nothing but coal for Christmas.. I actually ventured out of my freezing apartment, through the streets crowded with the most joyous of people, to the airport that was nothing but a madhouse, into an airplane that had more people in it than a can of sardines only to be standing at the airport waiting for my older brother Chris. I look like an idiot.. Good thing I ditched the elf hat after a while.

If I knew where you lived, I would have taken a taxi there.. I tried calling your cell phone, but my calls wont go out.. Stupid holiday times with people hogging up the networks.. SOME PEOPLE HAVE REAL EMERGENCIES YOU KNOW..

I am giving you five more hours before I get a return flight home.. Hibernating in my apartment doesn't sound like a half bad idea.

Alright, let me get this straight. This Santa Claus guy is a big fat glutton, makes his little "elf" servants work for little or no pay, wears riding furs the color of fresh blood, breaks into your house once per year, and keeps constant surveillance on every person on Earth? And we revere this guy as a good guy? A saint!?

This guy practically has us wrapped around his little finger! We even have to pay tribute to him every year! I mean, why do you think every single grocery store does the whole decorations-and-Christmas-music routine? I'll tell ya, it's certainly not 'cause they want to. It's 'cause if they don't, they're all getting lumps of coal for Christmas. Or worse, reindeer shit. Seriously, the guy has 9 reindeer, they gotta go somewhere.

I mean, I'm not upset or anything... I just wanna know how the guy pulls it off

Why did I agree to help out with the station's Christmas specials this year? My feet are killing me and I haven't gotten a chance to look for information on the invasion for the last couple days! Not to mention Fuse is being uncool and blocked my access to any of the information he or Noize have gotten on it. 'You need the night off' he says. 'It's Christmas,' he says. 'At least vid your parents,' he says. He's starting to get a little on my nerves!

Well, I guess it would be kind of groovy to call Mom and Dad. I've missed their last six or seven vids because of work. The show being on the air is probably the only sign they have I'm doing all right lately.

Sorry about spamming you with this, Space Ducks. It's weird how relaxing it is to have conversations through text instead of video. Must be something to it. Besides the need to always look 100% being gone.

Although this may prove to be a mistake.... What can you people tell me about preparing weddings?
