[The video is from a security feed in the bridge. Everything seems to be going swimmingly, except for Sulu's increasingly bemused (and then vaguely worried) posture and expression. Finally, he speaks up.] Captain, I'm getting some strange readings from the ship's systems. I can't make heads or tails of it - I think we should make for Tarsus IV as soon as possible.

[Jim looks pretty unphased.] "You’ve got it, Lieutenant. Carry on with emergency landing procedures. I’ll alert Tarsian airspace." [Jim turns to his console and Sulu looks satisfied enough with the whole thing and starts going through the motions of emergency landing, which probably shouldn't be usual but it's the Enterprise, so...

Suddenly, the ship rocks as it descends through the atmosphere, sending off alarms throwing most of the bridge around. They make a none-too-graceful landing on Tarsian soil, the turbulence only ending when they hit the ground, and the view from the bridge shows a sloping hill. Nothing strange seems to be going on outside, but then there's a slow rumble and over the hill comes a swarm of people - well, no, not people, because the Enterprise never gets off easy; it's a hoarde of zombies instead.

Sulu is a flurry of frantic movements, attempting everything short of going down and kicking the engines to get them to respond. After every possibility is exhausted, he turns and gives Jim a carefully blank face.] The engines won't respond, Captain - we're grounded.

"Great. That's what I like to hear. How long until the engines are back online?" You'd have to ask Mr. Scott, Sir. But, it's going to need at least twelve hours to warm up.

[Jim doesn't look pleased by this news. He grimaces, and nods.] "That's okay." Sir? [Sulu looks confused.] "We'll get in contact with the local government. Give me ten combat-ready men and come on. We're going down to the planet's surface." [Jim mutters the next part under his breath.] "Should have stopped for fuel on Klingon."

Halloween? That's in October, isn't it? I don't understand... it's still spring for me. The cherry blossoms are out and everything. Is this how different worlds usually work?

Oh, um...! Does anybody know what Tokyo used to look like before modern development? I was told that a lot of places were drained of water before they started expanding. It's, um, for school.

[While taking his turn at the control panel, Ichimaru happens to see live feed of the whole zombie mess going on in Karakura Town and the like, perhaps watching with some interest.]



Now m' sure that these things ain' Hollows or e'en Arrancar, though they do seem kinda fun. Wonder where they're all comin' from~

[Langly can be seen holding a baseball bat. He has a frightened look on his face as he's trying to swing the bat at the on coming zombies. Some zombies can be seen on the ground. His home an office are in shambles. One of his roommates, has pulled out a fire extinguisher to put out a fire that started.]



As you can see the zombies didn't spare my world and managed to break through our security. Can someone world hop us out of this mess? On a good note we have an interesting story for our paper. Zombie apocalypse, front page, baby.

[Have some random cell phone video of Maggie with a flamethrower aimed at a ZOMBIE. The video looks like it's coming from someone's cell, because the angles are shaky and the picture isn't so great. It's clear they're on a military base in a tropical area, she's still on Diego Garcia. She's with several hot Air Force guys, and they just so happen to be cowering behind her. There's some shrieking, but it's hard to say where it's coming from. The group finally backs away, and into a room. Maggie comes towards the person holding her phone, and snatches it away. Hefting her flamethrower under her arm, she stares in to the screen, looking more than a little pissed off.]

Someone explain why there's fucking zombies raiding the base, hmm?

[So it looks like Haibara's squirreled herself away in Naoto's hospital room. She looks... utterly bored with the whole situation.]

Zombies of all things.  You must be kidding me.

All these battles! Everyone, listen to me! Disney Castle hasn't been affected. If ya need a safe haven, lemme know an' I'll come and getcha! It's the best I can do right now, but if you're hurt or tired of fightin', I wanna do what I can to help.


((What he's not mentioning is he'll probably go off and fight zombies while getting people out. Replies later tonight, after I get back online post-dinner. ))

[Moaning is heard on occasion in the background, always followed by shouts and weapons clanking.]

Of course this is the community's fault. When they started showing up I had a feeling, but now that I've seen some of the other posts here...Besides, there's nowhere near this many undead on this continent. And I've never seen them so active!

At least the people here in Rueloon are safe - we've barricaded the arena and are fighting them off. I don't know about the other villages, but the Deimos are strong enough to overcome a bunch of stupid walking corpses.

[There are a few loud moans all at once, accompanied by several Deimos calling out. When Darc hears this, he pauses, draws his sword and dashes away. Before he gets too far, the clamour calms down and one voice calls, "It's all right King Darc!" A few others cry out as well - things like "we've got 'em!" and "don't worry about us!". Darc is heard sheathing his sword and returning.]

[Confident] See what I mean?

[Despite his confidence, the moans are becoming more frequent.] Looks like our little break's over.

((OOC: Just to clarify, there are some zombies in Darc's world. (There are different types too, but really they're just recolours of the same models.) In his case, his world's gone from having some to being overrun. Please assume that his responses are very sporadic.))

[ You can hear gunshots, people shouting, general zombie moaning, and Nena's high-pitched giggling ]

This is so much fun! God, just when I need some stress relief, along comes the best virus ever!

[ A pause for a particularly close-sounding shot ]

--Ooh, headshot! That's three in a row, beat that!

To anyone that needs a worldhop out of their worlds to get away from the zombies, I can come and pick you up. Just tell me where you are, and I'll be there as quick as I can.

[You hear soft groaning from three different people, not just Haruto, but he is the first one to notice what that strange blue light is coming from]

Huh? What happened? [he picks up the cell phone and turns it over] I never have you on while I'm at school.

[someone behind him says she hurt herself with that fall, another asks what they fell through. While the three shift to stand up there's a dull foot fall echoing throughout the hall. All three freeze and turn their heads and you see a group of shadows standing at the end of the hall.

There's the familiar Haruto whimper of terror as well as another youth, then the figures at the end of the hall sprint after them.

The trio scream and Haruto narrowly misses the arm of a zombie before falling backwards.

The cell phone clatters to the ground and you see Haruto blocking himself from an on coming zombie before a red head comes up and kicks it away from him.

[Have a video of Larsa sitting in his royal regalia: earrings, crown, staff and and all. Currently, he was arguing abou peace in treaties in Dalmasca and surrounding areas when all sorts of Zombies appear. While it's common in Ivalice to have zombie and undead types.]

[So, while the old senators are running out of the room, Larsa drops the staff, casting low level healing spells on them. He seems to be warding them off easily, but sooner or later a Disma appears. O-oh dear, Larsa seems panic. It lunges at him as more and more zombies start to manifest itself.]

Solidor!

[Larsa looks like he's been hit with a flash from the past, stumbling backwards. He looks like he's going to get hit by one before a Judge appears.]

Emperor!

[He throws Larsa his two weapons, and he makes short work of all of them. But, more and more keep appearing and even the Judge Magisters can't keep up with him. The feed ends with the apparition of something behind Larsa.

The camera is obviously airborne, constantly moving as it films the action below with only occasional bumps every time the Pokemon it's mounted on flaps its wings. It's a dramatic scene of a small city awash with shambling zombies. Many building have people on their roofs waving to the camera, signalling for help. Occasionally a large Flying Type Pokemon will soar in, let a human or two climb onto its back, and fly off again, carrying them off screen. The camera follows and shows where the people are being dropped off; there's a ring of Pokemon and trainers around a large building and any number of refugees hiding within. There's no way that an entire city's worth of people will fit in there...

There is an explosion some distance away. It takes the camera several minutes to reach the source, but it's quite a scene when it does. Mewtwo and about 25 other Pokemon are advancing through a residential area, wiping out the zombies as they go. Mewtwo himself doesn't seem to be doing much, merely floating above the centre of the ring, his eyes aglow with blue energy that he doesn't seem to be using.
