I am interested in any information anyone might have regarding recurring nightmares- specifically, why they arise and how to get rid of them.

I am aware of that. And I am aware that dreams, for the most part, mean nothing. But if the same one repeats itself many, many times, then there may very well be an underlying psychological reason for it.
