I have a question, community, and I'm hoping someone here can help.
I'm in... a delicate situation. Someone near and dear to me, almost like family, is in the process of taking on... [Inhale, sigh.] Well, I'm not sure what to call him. But I fear for her life, even if she's got some... friends of her own that are more than capable of keeping her safe.
Unfortunately, I'm no longer in a position to help. Some of you may already be familiar with what happened to me. I am quite literally... [He pauses uncomfortably; this is a difficult thing to say.] ...helpless, here.
My question is... Is there anything I can do to ease my conscience? I can't talk to her or anyone else involved. I suppose I can't help but be worried, but if anyone has any ideas as to what to do now, I'm more than open to them.
