[it's a little strange to see Cross playing with a knife so nonchalantly as he sits and starts to ponder about something. or maybe it's because he's absolutely sober and without a cigarette between his lips.]

Y'know, usually I'd tell people not to get revenge or fight with anger in their hearts. [a sigh:] But, today, I feel sort of angry at -well, everything. So, let me ask you a question: how long is too long to wait for revenge? I don't mean stealing a girl for stealing yours, I mean destroying everything and anything someone had ever loved. Bring it to the ground, destroy their family before you take their life in the slowest most painful way.
