Hey, community? If it's okay, I have a question for everyone. It's a little strange, but, well, a strange community is the best place to ask a strange question, right? What do you do... no, that's not right. Has anyone ever been in a situation where their memories didn't make sense anymore? If you were... what do you think that would mean?

Ha ha, I said it was strange, right? Even if you don't have an answer, thanks for your time. It's just been weighing on my mind lately, that's all.

Well, I started noticing it a while ago, but it didn't really start worrying me until recently. Mm, how shall I put this... it's that, I feel like I have too many memories. It feels like I've been on the community for months, and it's passed October, Christmas, and New Year since I've been here... but on my world, I can only ever remember it being March or April. Jade-san told me time might just be going really slowly for me, but that doesn't seem quite right either...

No, that doesn't sound quite right to me, either. It sounds more like compression, if I could put my finger on it. All that time's happening, it's just getting sort of squeezed together into two months. Is that what it feels like to you, more or less?

Mmm, a little. I can remember things on the community happening on the same day here that can't possibly have happened together.

With all of the viruses here, I sometimes feel like my memories aren't quite right sometimes.

Oh, that's right, isn't it? I know how that feels too. There was a virus last year that made me think I was playing a game that ended the world, and it all felt so real at the time.

No, not wrong exactly... but I think there's something strange about the time between my world and the community. Or it might just be my memories that are strange... I don't know.

I'm not sure... it might be, but then, people here usually know when it's something the community's been doing, don't they? Like with the memories from some of the viruses.

Or, I was remembering something so differently, that it warped my perception of something.

Ehh, really? Doesn't that get confusing sometimes?

Mm, well, I feel like I have too many memories for the rest of me, if that makes sense. When I think about it, things don't add up the way they should.

Maybe some of them were from dreams.

Oh yes, that makes sense, so don't worry! Mm... that's a little like what I'm feeling like, but I think it might be something else... I don't know.

I'm okay, it's just that, I don't think my memories add up any more. I remember months and months and months of things happening here on the community, but for some reason when I think about my world, I only ever remember it being March or April here... but that can't be right, can it?

Oh, I see. That makes sense now I think about it... like how I don't get confused with some of my virus memories, because I know they're not the real me.

Dreams? Maybe... but I remember all of them happening on the community though. They can't be dreams if other people remember them too, right? Although, now you mention it, I did have a strange dream a while ago.

From what I've heard, the community can tamper with people in different ways. Nothing's happened to me yet, though.

What kind of dream was it?

Yes, it does. Last year there was a virus that made me and some of my friends think we were playing a game that ended the world... that was one of the more extreme ones, though!

Mmm, well, how do I describe it...? I remember everything being dark, and there was this odd shape hanging in the sky. I remember feeling very scared, but for some reason I knew I couldn't run away either. And... there was something familiar there too, but I can't remember what. Heh, that probably sounds really weird, right?

Maybe you should keep a calendar? Now that you've noticed something's off, I mean. It might help us figure out what's going on.

Ahaha, I guess so. This was a different sort of weird than normal dream-weird, though. It felt important, somehow. I just can't remember why.
