[accidental video; back-dated to valentine's day]
[Sam is being recorded returning to the Hudson-Hummel residence after Sugar's Valentine's Day party. Finn and Kurt are busy with their Valentines which means he's alone. He dumps himself on the couch with a sigh. He hadn't really wanted to go to the party but he had a song performance he needed to follow through with, and whilst surrounded by couples he reminds himself of those poignant lyrics from that famous song - smile though your heart is aching, smile even though it's breaking - but now he's alone he doesn't have to put on a brave face.
He suddenly misses his family more than anything, but they're about four hours away by car. He misses his sister telling him not to cry when he's sad and he kind of really wants a hug from his mom... And that's when Carole, the mother of the friends he's staying with, enters the living room and asks how his night was. Sam forces a watery smile at her and he doesn't have to say anything, a mother just knows. She pulls him into a much-needed hug and he sniffles into her shoulder.
After the hug and a skype call home to his family later, he's feeling better, appearing in a new video that isn't accidental.]
