quicktoreward: (Who lets the hardest people)

[voice-the eris plot]

[Utena's voice is quieter than usual, more subdued, without it's brashness or tone of surety. She sighs deeply.]

What's the point of this? I don't get it at all. I don't want to be here--this isn't the right place at all.

[Her fingers are rapping against a table top or a desk.] ...I guess I should ask a question. What is something eternal? Does such a thing exist? There probably isn't. Everything ends. Everything fades away in the end.

You are most
correct, in that there is

nothing eternal.

It is merely an
ideal,
like all that is

immortal or endless.

A human thought,
a human concept,
and just as flawed.

It does not mean
things cannot be restored to

some semblance of form.

[ souls can. life can. it may not be the same, because rebirth happens from moment to moment. ] Change is
constant, that is why

not one thing
or state

is eternal.

Just because something or someone fades away doesn't mean it can't be eternal.

Rebirth happens
from moment to

moment, you see.

You were not the same person
you were a day ago.
[ don't be confusing rebirth with reincarnation now! ] When one goes into
the new life,
yes- that is when

memory and emotions are wiped

for a new chance to develop.

[ oh. is that her question? ] Even if something
is only temporary, it does not mean

the beauty of the moment

must go unappreciated.
And indeed, the process of change

is something to be appreciated,

in of itself. [ otherwise, things remain still. stagnant. dead. ]
hugmyscythe: (hug my scythe)

[personal profile] hugmyscythe 2012-02-19 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
Of course
not. That which is transient may be

suffering, after all.

....But forcing something
to last longer than it should be allowed

may be just as painful.

[ it goes for physical things, it goes for sorrow. ]
hugmyscythe: (smile for you)

[personal profile] hugmyscythe 2012-02-19 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
...It is not so
hopeless as it seems,
you see,

as change itself is a mechanism

for hope.

Mm? Help?
No, no-

how can I help when

I know nothing of what
has happened to you?
sandinmyboots: (LOITKEFKA)

oh noooo

[personal profile] sandinmyboots 2012-02-19 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yep! You've finally got it! Nothing is eternal. All things end. It's all pointless!
hugmyscythe: (skull-chans)

[personal profile] hugmyscythe 2012-02-19 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
And?
An accident is

an accident.

You are not alone
in that.
hugmyscythe: (oreos WHERE)

[personal profile] hugmyscythe 2012-02-19 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
'Supposed to'?
...Why, what ever

leads you to believe that?

You sound upset.

[Isn't he insightful?]

Oi, don't listen to this guy. It's not all pointless.
