They would be allowed to quit if they were crazy, but they had to fill out a paper first. If they could fill it out, that meant that they weren't crazy, so they had to still fly. And if they didn't fill it out, then they must not be crazy either. See?

I don't trust Kayneth-dono. In fact I find myself resenting him, Sola-sama, and the situation at large more and more as time passes. But I know that is terrible of me; as a Servant I have no right to find my purpose unsuitable.

Being summoned to fight for the Grail is what I wanted, but being summoned to a dishonorable Master able to look upon his Servant with such distrust and hatred...it is more than I can bear.

And I...don't want to hurt Issei by dying in a war for a corrupted and worthless Holy Grail. He is the only one to ever admit he loved me of his own free will. To abandon him like that is unthinkable, and yet the only way to avoid such a fate would be to betray my sworn word to Kayneth-dono.

...Kefka, you did not have to ask it that way. Now I've said far more than was necessary.
