[video] I swear this post contains as little reading as I could make it 8(

[What a strange thing to see from Scrooge's account - this appears to be a video of... a saloon? On fire? Looks like it, anyway. As the camera (?) zooms in, you will see two ducks looking at each other more intensely than you'd ever imagine a cartoon duck could; one of them is easily identifiable as a much younger Scrooge McDuck, and the other is a blonde duck dressed as a... dancer.

Suddenly, the female swoons and collapses on the floor. Scrooge begins to rush to her side, but before he can get far, a firehose outside shoots some hefty blocks of ice straight at his head, and he goes out like a light.

So does the video, for a moment.]

[When it starts up again - only a few minutes later, though there is no way to really tell - the setting seems to have changed: this is the Wild West, and the dreaming Scrooge sees something unusual: a bunch of crooks who shouldn't be there.]

[And as if that wasn't strange enough, afterwards, he (literally) runs into someone else...]

[Now what the hell is going on here? The explanation doesn't take long to come, thankfully!]

[That explains... everything? Maybe? You GUESS? Anyway, Scrooge begins making his escape, and the Beagle Boys follow on horseback - one of them, who was holding Donald, seems to fall off the dream and disappear as the others start going too far from them, and the nephew is apparently dragged along - when things start getting weird(er?) (again?).

The Beagles' horses turn into kangaroos.

The setting is now the Australian desert.]

[And Scrooge doesn't know what's going on.

Donald explains again, and this time the will to run away is twofold - Scrooge casually warns everyone that there is a flood coming. In panic, Donald, seemingly in deep concentration, mumbles something--]

[What the heck is even happening.

Suddenly Scrooge is dreaming about the goddamn Mississipi.]

[Thankfully, at least one person has a vague idea of what is going on, and he's able to get Scrooge up to speed. Additionally, he also knows how to concentrate really hard and ask the outside world for help!]

[Scrooge doesn't always interpret outside stimuli quite right.]

[If you are still reading this post watching this video, congratulations. Are you wondering where the hell this is all going? At least things sort of make sense now...?]

[Or no, wait, are you just wondering what's up with Scrooge's brain? That is very, very understandable.

Speaking of "what the heck", Scrooge and Donald leap on to the iceberg.

Company awaits them, though, in the form of some kind of zombie that the two appear to be familiar with.]

[You know how this goes by now: Scrooge is a pottymouth! Donald explains! Beagles are there! Daring escape! Another one of the villains falls off the dream!]

[... And Scrooge's psyche is still very much fuelled by nostalgia. Immediately, Donald finds himself lost in an unfamiliar city, and after ignoring a cute little shoeshine boy, meeting his own mother as a toddler and getting his rear kicked by his grandfather...]

[Oh for Christ's sake.

Donald manages to trick another Beagle into leaving the dream, but...]

[It doesn't work out right away, but eventually, whoever's helping outside must come up with just what's needed, because...]

[The burning saloon again. The Klondike days.

What happens next is best seen, and not described.

Scrooge McDuck is a
beast. Goldie is feeling things probably best left outside a children's comic. Donald is nosey and a little bit creepy if you think about it too hard.

But Scrooge doesn't even care, man.]

[And then...

The video fades out.]
