he's unimpressed.

Yeah, I think they're holographic, like the screens. [he pokes at one and his finger goes right through it]

They're made out of the same holographic stuff my computer screens are. [he pulls another one up in front of the screen so Once-ler can see] My best guess is that whatever causes the virus did some kind of scan for relevant materials.

Beeeeecause she'll flip out and do that thing where she just doesn't stop talking until she runs out of air. ... And she's got really impressive lung capacity.

[Hesitantly she moves to touch one of the wings, her finger passing straight through it.] That's so bizarre...

Normally, yes, but in some cases we have to let Pepper adjust before we roll with it, because she is not a scientist.

Absolutely. [for once, he's got no wisecracks, no smartass backtalk. he knows Jane's holding on to some vital knowledge, and that beyond that, she's important to him. if he couldn't get to Pepper, he'd want someone else to do the same.]
