[At first, there's nothing more than the sound of heavy rain pattering on what has to be a nearby window. There's a muffled noise of what sounds like protest before it's silenced by thunder. As the rumble trails off, the unmistakable voice of one Ken Hidaka can be heard, cursing under his breath followed closely by what sounds like a muffled meow.]

Ow, damn it. I know you're wet and everything, but keep your claws to yourself. You're not the only one that knows how to use those, you know? Now quit squirming....

Sure enough, Ken's back as quickly as he can manage, but he's a good ten minutes late. By the time he's back, he's drenched and grumpy, but there's no way to miss the careful way he's cradling a bundle of wet fur to his chest.
