Er. Hello. I was wondering...

If you were in a city you've never seen before, what would you do there?

Also...

Do you think it's safe to come out now? It's been rather... murky, recently.

(OOC: due to laziness on my part, please pretend all of his posts are coming from a journal called [profile] rably!)

It would depend on the purpose of the visit, methinks.

I'd try and find out more about it, first. See if there's anything interesting around. ... maybe get a little lost, too.

[ why no he is totally not speaking from experience why do you ask ]

I'd think some exploration would be in order.

Perhaps in my youth, I would tell you to make your presence known by making drink and being merry. Alas, I doubt many could make entrances like Asgardians.

Well, I've spent my time in other worlds right now by taking care of a problem, but... I guess if I had a chance to relax there, I'd try the local attractions first. Is there anything well-known about this city?

It sounds like a place to start. Are you there visiting someone?

A map may prove useful.

I've gathered summer is a popular time for tourists to visit cities with many things to see. However, that may make it easier to locate a map, if so many outsiders are visiting at once.
loyalbound: (I've fallen out of favour)

I'm... not familiar with the concept, no. Is it a form of travel?

Then ask for his recommendations too. He'll know more places of interest.

Uhh... weird buildings? Places where a lot of things happened? Or maybe if there's some sort of event going on somewhere... I dunno. It really depends on the place.

No, I doubt that's the case. In a few of the American cities my friends have frequented in the past, there was an underground facility called a subway. Might that be similar?

I suppose the easiest way to indulge your curiosity would be to see for yourself.
