[ There's something strange afoot in the middle of the quad! Okay, okay, maybe not that strange. It's two particular short-skirted, thigh-highed girls with nearly identical haircuts, even down to wearing their hair up in the same fashion with some peculiar hair bobbles. They're also wearing the same shirt right now, small t-shirts that say in pink and red "YURI/ANGE 2013" on the back. Their skirts and thigh highs are the same as they ever were though, but perhaps the strangest thing about this scene is that they're going up to random people and putting on something of a show. ]

Sugar! [ For her part, Yuri is quite enthusiastic as she holds out a cupcake (store-bought). ]

Or spice. [ Ange is, if possible, even more deadpan as usual. She too holds out a cupcake (also store-bought), though clearly a different type than the one Yuri is offering. ]

We've got everything nice! And~ [ Yuri moves closer to some random guy as he expresses interest in her cupcake. ] We'll keep it that way if you vote for us for president and vice president, got it?

[ Random guy nods and takes Yuri's cupcake, then gets ushered off. Despite that Yuri was the "sugar" part of the duo, her cupcake is actually a spice cake cupcake. Ange's is a sweet white cake. Yuri turns to Ange and puts her hands on her hips. ]

See Ange? I told you campaigning wouldn't be that bad.

Yeah. [ But instead of an 'you're right' kind of agreeing, it's more a 'whatever you say' kind of agreeing. It's obvious from her expression. ] I'm just having the time of my life. [ You could at least bother to seem enthusiastic instead of just deadpan, Ange!!

And with that, they both move along to the next person. Yep, they're continuing this silliness from person to person. ]

[ You know, sometimes he questioned why he even left his room. Usually, kept in there to avoid this kind of stuff. And though he knew they were campaigning here (as he could hear them from a mile away), he still made his way down to greet them. Hey, cute girls and free cupcakes. It wouldn't be as bad as most student campaigns.

Besides. Not everyday he got to see her in a get-up like that. With a smirk, he made his way over to the two girls. ]

Couldn't you guys come up with something catchier? [ And not eye-catching, like the skirts and thigh highs. Though really, honestly, he kinda just wanted a cupcake. ]

[Have a Reimu, actually wearing her casual clothes for once. Though they're still red and white, and she will never not be wearing the giant bow in her hair. She awkwardly shifts her English textbook in her arms.]

I don't know, the people getting double-teamed by two sexy girls with cupcakes don't seem to be complaining. I guess it's because you're not getting a cupcake, huh?

Nope, we had better things to do than spend hours coming up with a slogan. Or googling it like the other candidates. Most of theirs are from shoutslogan.com or a TV commercial.

[ Yuri just looks at Ange as this woman comes over, then points at her. ]

[ ... The one person she hoped to not see right now!! Yuri, please, why this.. Not that she normally minds spending time with him, but when she's handing out cupcakes in at least semi-embarassing outfits it's just not the right time. Not the right time at all.

Good thing she's pretty okay at hiding embarasment among other things. Not that it doesn't partially still slip out, but she's trying to still lineface. ]

Good afternoon to you too, Yuri. [ GOING TO IGNORE YURIPPE'S COMMENT HERE. ]

And then it probably would've ended up in some lame pun as the slogan either way.

[ SHE KNOWS HOW THIS STUFF WORKS. So she's totally okay with just having something lame as long as they can get it over quickly. Quick and painless is the kind of death through embarassment she prefers, okay. ]

Ange just rolls her eyes in an attempt to hide her emotions, which are currently in the perfect middle between embarassed and downright annoyed. ]

Family. [ She'll leave it at that. :| Then she glances over to the third person. ]

Then how do you know they'll remember you? The first rule of advertising is to make a memorable impression on your audience. Even if it's cheesy.

This is cheesy and it's not recycled 50,000,000 times. Also we're wearing these for the rest of the campaign. [ She points to the hair bobbles. ] Cupcakes, cupcakes, sugar and spice cupcakes. Duh.

He turned, smiling to Ange. ]

You should have let me know you two were gonna be out here, I would have come sooner. [ And back to Yurippe. ] So, does it look like you've got the popular vote?

Oh great, we're going to get in the school newspaper for some kind of family drama in the gossip section now aren't we?

[ YURI'S LOOKIN' AT YOU ANGE THIS IS SOMEHOW YOUR FAULT only not really ]

That's why you don't need a cupcake. [ Yuri shrugs. ] Ange is the one who's keeping track of statistics and polls and things like that, right Ange?

[ Or she hopes. Even if she probably never.. mentioned it... ]

[ ... yeah, she's done here. Or well, she thought this idea was ridiculous to begin with buuuut she sort of promised Yuri to help with her campaign since they're friends. So it's not like she had much of a choice after agreeing to the initial idea.

So Ange just stands there linefacing. Silent agreement of some sort. ]

[ SHE CAN'T HELP IT THAT HER FAMILY IS BATSHIT, OKAY. Besides, Yuri is dating one of them, she doesn't have any right to talk about this to begin with.

She gives Yuri an expression that practically says 'I'D DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS IF I COULD?!' but then just.. decides to try this the most blunt way, even though she's sure it won't even work.. ]

Can't you just leave? You're disturbing our campaigning efforts here.

She goes up to some random stranger and decides to vary up the slogan. She holds out a cupcake and.. ]

The cupcakes won't be the only thing covered in cream if we win!
