Does anybody know ways for a split personality to keep from being reabsorbed by a main personality?

...that question's kind of specific, huh. In that case, what keeps you going?

That first question is quite an odd one.

I'm not really subtle.

That's pretty literal, but I guess it fits.

Sometimes it isn't. [She's not exactly happy about calling herself a split personality, but for the lack of a better term she's not going to argue.] Do they want to just forget you or is it something else?

When I've outlived my usefulness, they're going to make it so that 'I' don't exist anymore.
