Been looking through the release dates lately. Looks like I've got a long time to wait for the Hyper Battle DVDs for this years Super Sentai. Considering Go-Busters JUST started. And then there's the Aoi-tan movies coming out soon too.

Now then... Kamen... Rider...

... it's made by Toei? Wow there's a lot of stuff...

Well, that's certainly not something one sees every day.

I know, right? I get the gist of what they're doing, and how old Showa-era shows are like. But that is something I have never seen before in Super Sentai.

It's all new territory for me really. I'm a Super Sentai fan but I've never watched this Rider show before.

It's pretty silly, but that's what old Showa television is all about. I think I'm going to look into the rest of this, maybe marathon it. It looks great actually for an old series.

Now hopefully my bandwidth will hold up.

I used to watch magical girl shows quite a bit.

There's a few shows like that in our world. Not quite as popular, but getting there.

Yeah, it's not as popular as some shows, but there's good stuff out there like Aoi-tan, and that older Magic Masked Luna Sailor series out there too.

[Which is Nobuo-speak for, 'there's shows that are Sailor Moon AU's in his world.]

I live and work in and near Akibahara, which is an otaku community. It's uh, kind of a weird not-stigma of the city to frequent the areas, because it seems weird to people.
