[ The video feed opens up to a slightly depressed looking Akiho who's clearly confused about a few things. ]

I know there are a few other entries like this but when I woke up I still remembered that it was a school day and I had a full plan for club today since we have a lot to do. The person who called me on my pokecom this morning said they were my friend but I’ve never seen him before.... and apparently they’re a club member?. I don’t know if it was just a wrong number or not since the caller id showed up as someone named Kaito in my contacts.

[ Akiho lets out a small sigh, feeling upset won't solve anything and it'll just end up causing her more problems in the long run. ]

Maybe I shouldn’t think too much about it for now and just keep working on fixing a few of the parts for the gunpro1 …? Since it seems like a lot of other people are forgetting things maybe I'll remember something in a few days!

That's a good attitude to have about it, I think- to find a focus. I hope you are able to find what you need for your, gunpro1, was it? May I ask, what is that?

Ah...it seems like this is happening to a lot of people. Maybe it's one of those virus things that people mentioned?

It's a robot based off the designs my older sister made while she was in high school. It's been the robotics club job since then to try and finish it but it's taking a very long time.

I really hope it is just that because then I know things will be back to normal in a few days instead of it being permanent.

Oh, that is very neat! And sounds a bit complicated. Do you hope to become an engineer?

What are you talking about, Aki? It's me, Kai. We go to school together. We work on a giant robot together. I wouldn't think you'd forget about me so easily.

It must be really confusing. I think it's best to stay positive, though!

Ah well.. I haven't given much thought in to what I want to do job wise but I know it'll be something with robots or at the space center nearby. I might be good with building things but being an engineer might be out of my league for now.

I really don't remember.... forgetting someone you work with doesn't happen that much but it did.

Yeah, I just need to stay positive for now and wait it out!

I'm sure you will continue to learn much through your projects. It is good to have a passion for something, after all.

Exactly. Things always work out in the end.

Dreams and passions for something are what drive people after all. If I didn't have a big dream and actively try to each it I don't know what I would do.

Yeah, in the end things work out and the hero saves the day. So I just have to wait for someone to figure things out and fix this.

I've heard sometimes that they just fix themselves around here. So that's just as good, right?

In that case it's just as good, time can be considered a hero within it's own right.

That is very well said. You're right; to know the path you wish to take, even if not exact, is an accomplishment at your age. I admit to only have found mine recently.

Yeah, exactly! Time fixes a lot of things when you think about it.

At any point in life finding something is still well a really good thing. Watching people aim for their dreams is amazing it's shining really bright.

The only downside is if you're waiting for the new episode of something time ends up being your enemy.

Ha, ha. That's true! Or if class is really boring that day and all you want to do it get out.

Wanting the school day to end when you're really bored or want to do something else is the worst. I can't even use my pokecom in class or I'll get yelled at.

Well, it is important to pay attention, but sometimes it can just be hard to focus.

[slowdown]

It's hard to work on school work when I just want to do research and compare prices for parts that I need for the robot.

But you could still learn important things in school that will help you with your robot. Right?

Math and other science classes do help, I guess learning how to do some form of accounting can be added to the set of skills school has been useful for.

Exactly! You never know when some things might come in handy to know.

Isn't it just? How passionate they are, how hard they try, and the smile on their face when they accomplish a step towards their dream; it is very admirable.

[slowdown]

Yeah, though some classes like p.e seem worthless in the long run. I don't think I'm going to need to know how to run for hours on end as an adult.

Ah, but I like getting out and exercising. It's a lot of fun.

[slowdown]

I don't mind it but, I rather be doing work on the robot instead.

Well, it sounds like you really care about it, so I can understand that.

It's been my dream for as long as I remember, and before that it was my big sister's dream to build it in the first place.

Is she helping you with it?

[slowdown]

She's busy with her job in Tokyo, and I haven't seen her in a very long time due to that. But I know she must be thinking about me even if she's far away!
