Um... Does anybody have advice for if you've started to dislike your birthday or be afraid of what might happen?

You could always talk to other people about it!

I guess, but it's just kind of silly. So you don't? Dislike any days like that, I mean.

It's not really like that, Greed-san... At least, I don't think so? I'm more used to being too young for things than too old...

To be honest, I've never really celebrated my birthday like everyone else around me does.

If I ever learn to stop being nervous about New Year's Day, I'm sure I'll have some advice for you.

I'm sorry, Karen-san! A lot of things have happened for you, too... Is it a day that something bad happened?

Is it not common where you used to live?

It seems to be the time of year when everything that's been building up finally happens. It was when we found the last Pinky, for instance.

That makes sense. It's sort of fitting, isn't it?

...I suppose it is, now that you mention it. Like at the end of the year we finish what we've been doing all year.

Is there something I can do to help?

Well, I don't think there's really anything happening this year. It's just something I have to get over, I suppose.

It's still sad... Um, how has your Golden Week been going? I guess being in the same grade every year, you would have done all the schoolwork already, so time off would be easier to come by, but...

It's been uneventful, which is certainly better than some of the 'events' that could have happened.

You mean like the viruses we've been getting, or...?

Well, and whatever evil organization might have attacked.

I hope that doesn't happen. Sometimes I'm scared things might start up here again, too, but there haven't been any threats here in years.

Speaking of which, how are things on your end?

It's very nice. Peaceful, I mean. Sort of lonely. I told some other people, but I've gotten an apartment recently. I just... well, I don't want to cause trouble, right?

It sounds like you need some visitors.

Really? I mean, if it's not too much trouble... It is a little lonely.
