S-so, um... apparently there's a large following for the Precure on the internet. And there are a lot of artists that make fanart and write doujinshi... and... um... [Her eyes are going blank... wait, no, she's back, shaking her head again with a groan.] Mmn...! Why does everyone seem to think Hibiki and I look good as a couple!? She's so insensitive and loud and can't think things through and...!

[She's quiet for a long moment, before she sighs.] I can't even think about her without my head going all fuzzy and getting weird ideas. I don't even want to know what else is posted... I found one link, and that led to another, and... I think I wasted a couple of hours with this stuff.

I don't even... I hadn't even thought of her like that before. Not until I saw all this. [Kanade slumps against the wall behind her, face red.] What do I do...?

....April 2013? [Nearly two full years into Kanade's future. And, she thought, several years into Yayoi's.] How did you get it, then? I mean, it looks impressive, but... you shouldn't have it.

I made a trip to another world recently for shopping, and I discovered it in a magazine. So I took a trip to 2013 in that same world and picked it up.

...you went to the future for a shopping trip? That seems a little silly...

Well, admittedly it's still 2012 here, and when I discovered I was the first Figuart of the Smile Precure, I just had to have it. It does seem silly on retrospect.

I don't think I know anyone who would have a figure of themselves... well, not that anyone would know except us.

...So you're the first figure of your team?

I plan on getting people figuarts for their birthdays. Which reminds me, they'd better hurry up and release some for your team.

Yeah, surprisingly enough. I mean, there's a lot of Cure Dolls and whatever, but I'm the first in the Figuart line.

From anyone else, that would be a very awkward present. But knowing who we are, and knowing you... it's surprisingly thoughtful.

Yeah, it seems like it takes till 2013 in some worlds for it to be released. I'm sure in some other worlds Toei's made a bunch of stuff for your team though.

[Kanade clearly has to stop to process the concept of a figure of herself being released in two years' time, let alone other merch.] W-well, I guess it's good that we're popular...? I think? I'm envisioning little girls in Cure Rhythm costumes, and I'm not sure whether I want to be happy with how cute it'd be, or horrified that there are little girls that want to dress like me.

It wouldn't even be weird for me to have it. For civilians, the Precure are girls to look up to - the uniforms, the powers, the fact that we're saving the world...

Maybe look at it that you're being a good role model for those kids?

It's weird, but... when you think about it like that, all our problems seem so meaningless. In more ways than one, there are people depending on us.

People count on the Precure even if they don't know they're active or they do. It's just how things are really. Good luck with it.
