[Someone walks up—in an obscenely sparkly suit, holding a henshin belt with medals inside it.]



This is the pride of my Kougami Foundation. A Rider who uses the Medal System. With this, you can become a Kamen Rider.



[Miharu hesitates for a moment before taking the Driver.]

I can do this. I can finally be the Rider I should be.

Water has to cycle through the Driver itself. And it works best underwater. And I still can't swim.

... And they decided to give that one to you?

It came down to an injured old scientist or a teenager who would drown.

... There really wasn't anyone else they could give it to?

The two of us were holed up in a warehouse, and I think he knew he wasn't going to make it out alive.

... Oh. The scientist was the one who gave it to you. That makes more sense.

Yeah. He put the Driver on me and told me to run for it. I guess he didn't want the only weapon against the monsters to fall into their hands.

I'm... I'm sorry. That really changes everything about the situation.

It's okay. But now I've got something I can use against the monsters. And maybe the Kougami Foundation can find a way to undo the lock on the Aqua Driver so someone else can use it instead.

... That'd probably be a good idea. Even if it's not really as useful as the one you have now.
