Hey there everyone. I've been here for... well, quite a while now, but I realized recently that I don't really know a lot of people here. Sorry about not really being around and talkative much, but well... using the internet like this is pretty weird for me. It's always been something my brother did...

... Anyway, I guess I should get to asking something so that there's a point to all of this. How many people here do martial arts and weapons training? I'm pretty into kendo myself, and well, I'm kinda curious to see how many people on the community know this kind of stuff.

The prototype Amuspheres finally came! It took them long enough, but I have both of them with me at my room now! Yurippe, when do you think you're going to be able to come over to pick yours up or try it out?

And Oniichan, if we have trouble setting this thing up you better walk me through it. We only have these to help you out, you know.

I'll try to find someone who can worldhop me out temporarily in order to set it up. It can get annoying if you're trying to walk through the process without being in person.

... I really hope that we can. This whole situation is just, well, stressful. I mean, I guess we wouldn't be able to keep you out of there like that. And there's still everyone else we want to save too...

[ But even so, this was her brother. And as selfish as it is, part of her only really cares that he stays alive. ]

Yeah it really is. It's tough, because going out into the field means I'm risking my life, but I am a front-liner right now. I guess it's part of the whole situation at hand.

[He didn't want to die, but he had seen too many people die around him.]

And hopefully, Yurippe and I will be able to do what we want with these and figure out a way to get in there and help.

I mean, the two of us wouldn't be risking anything by fighting in the game, after all. If only we could tell everyone about it in there, then everyone else would be able to avoid fighting while the two of us and anyone else we brought in took care of things.

[ She pauses for a moment, thinking... ]

... Though I have to wonder what would happen if we just worldhopped into the game. If you can get out of there and we can get in, we might not have needed to bother with the AmuSpheres.

I know. I hope for everyone's sake you guys can get in.

Hmmm, we should be okay then if that happens. Avoiding fighting might be a good idea, but making sure you're highly leveled is aonther thing.

I couldn't say. It might be weird and only route people to our real world, or perhaps force people into roles they might not like.

You shouldn't have to worry about not always using this place, really. If you neglect it for long enough it'll start showing up by itself to bother you. That's just how annoying it really is.

Oh. Trust me, I know that. But even so, there are still some people that I talk to here that I... really should talk to more often. Even if I don't really care what the community thinks.

... I've made a few of them. Is that really so weird?

Not really "weird". In fact, I'd probably say it's the norm, there's tons of people on here who are just looking to make friends and all that. I'm just saying it's not exactly my kind of thing.

So, if making friends on the community isn't something you usually do, then what do you do on it?

Hmm... I train in staves myself, though not as often as I'd like. Then again, I also train in shooting magic, so I'm not sure I'm a fair comparison.

[ She thinks about it for a moment, before deciding to answer. ]

Well, I know I can't do anything like magic, but I still think it would count. I mean, you still need to train how to use it, right?

Definitely. Magic isn't something you can just-

...isn't something normal people can just pick up and use with good effectiveness and efficiency. It takes practice, theoretical work, and dedication.

... Speaking from experience on that last part?

A bit. One doesn't rise into the officer ranks of the Bureau by being too lazy to practice his abilities.

Well, whoever this person is, I doubt they're going to get farther than you are if they don't practice too.

Yeah. Later today is definitely fine! I'm pretty sure my mom won't care, and the sooner we get this all set up and try it out the better.

I just hope we're able to use these to somehow get into Sword Art Online. Not that I'm sure the game we're supposed to be playing is fun, but well, getting all of them out is kinda important.

You can introduce me as a friend from school if you need to. I don't know much about kendo, but I can at least fake it if she's not a trained eye since I know how to use two-handed sword style.

[ Not expertly, but well enough to get away from a ninja assassin with only a lot of injuries and make cool poses. She prefers a knife or a gun. ]

I'm sure we will. We can ask Riley and Jin, they're experts at this kind of stuff.

I don't think we'll need to worry about that. I mean, it's not like the only people I talk to at school are from Kendo practice. I think just saying that you're a friend from school should be enough.

[ Though she might want to ask for a match sometime now that she knew this. See how her style held up against a different one. ]

That's good. Because I really have no idea what I'm doing on the tech end. Though Oniichan said he'd walk us through it if we needed help getting everything set up provided we can get it working to talk to him or somehow worldhop him out of there while staying in the Real World here.

Of course, I don't think he'd be able to help us with the getting into Sword Art Online part... unless I have no idea how good at this stuff he actually is.

[ Yuri would accept, even if it'd be a bad idea for Suguha. Mostly because if Yuri's skill isn't high enough to win, she has no problem with cheating so long as she's the one who stands victorious. ]

Well, I don't think we'd be able to worldhop him out of there unless I can somehow get a worldhop programmed into the game that would take him specifically back to his body.. but even that sounds a little too sci-fi within a sci-fi to be possible. Chances are we're just going to have to help him in-game until someone can beat him.

If we do get in though, let me get in first then try to log out, okay? Just in case the programming for Sword Art Online somehow overrides the Amusphere. [ She's not even sure that's possible, but better safe than sorry and dead girls can survive getting killed a lot more than little sisters. ]

Yeah, I guess so. But we don't really know how the community really works, but even I knew it was a long shot when the idea came up.

... But yeah, if we do manage to get into the game, I guess it makes sense for you to go in first. Even if Sword Art Online overrides the Amusphere though, I don't think it's going to be much of an issue. These things are designed so that they CAN'T kill the person who's wearing it, after all.
