Hey there everyone. I've been here for... well, quite a while now, but I realized recently that I don't really know a lot of people here. Sorry about not really being around and talkative much, but well... using the internet like this is pretty weird for me. It's always been something my brother did...

... Anyway, I guess I should get to asking something so that there's a point to all of this. How many people here do martial arts and weapons training? I'm pretty into kendo myself, and well, I'm kinda curious to see how many people on the community know this kind of stuff.

The prototype Amuspheres finally came! It took them long enough, but I have both of them with me at my room now! Yurippe, when do you think you're going to be able to come over to pick yours up or try it out?

And Oniichan, if we have trouble setting this thing up you better walk me through it. We only have these to help you out, you know.

[ She's also going to be leading you over to her room in the meantime Yuri, no reason for the two of you to stand out in the middle of the hallway, after all. ]

[ Yuri heads inside, looking around curiously as Suguha leads her through the house. It's the bedroom that's the most interesting though, so she totally doesn't mind not getting to snoop through the whole house. ]

[ Oh. Hum. That was... well, yeah. That was different, but it certainly explained a lot.

There's really not that much in her room to comment about. It's really just a normal room, though there's quite a few stuffed animals on her bed.

Not to mention two unopened boxes containing the Amusphere, and her computer on the desk. ]

So, do you think we should call Onii-chan now to help us set these up, or do you think we'll be able to manage on our own?

Let's try it on our own and then ambush him.

[ Yes, that is clearly the solution. ]

... We're going to need to figure out a way into the game he's trapped in to ambush him, even if manage to get these things working on our own.

Yeah... [ Yuri looks around Suguha's room for a moment, then turns around with a confident smile on her face. ]

Let's call Riley and Jin before then and see if they can't do it without him! It'll definitely make it more exciting!

[ She just wants a big entrance lbr.. ]

... Umm, okay? We'd probably still be better off letting him know first, but well, you're the one who knows most of the people who know what they're doing here.

[ So she really can't argue with her. And to be honest, the thought of coming in and saving her brother at the last minute was pretty, well, exciting to her too. ]

Or would you rather let him know and miss your chance for him to really be super grateful?

Okay, okay, okay. We'll try to get it working without him, and only call him if we can't figure it out.

Sounds good. I'll go ahead and get Jin and Riley together and see if we can't hassle them into working really fast. Until then, how do we work these things?

[ She motions to the Amuspheres. ]

Honestly, I haven't taken a look yet.

[ Though there should be instructions on how to do it. ]

Obviously turning it on shouldn't be too hard to do though. It's getting our avatars for the game that's in beta that might be the hard part.

[ After all, how hard was it to turn a thing on? ]

Let's figure this out then. It shouldn't be too hard to get it on and working, but if we're in an emergency and we have to configure it our something it'll be a problem.

Hopefully by the time that happens we'll know what we're doing.

[ She moves to sit down on the floor next to the boxes, moving to open up one of them and pulling out one of the Amuphere's. They sure... well, they weren't as bulky as Kazuto's NerveGear, that's for sure.

And there's even basic directions in them, so it's not like they're going to go in completely blind either. ]

[ Suguha holds it out to Yuri, intending on opening up the other one as soon as she takes it. ]

[ Yuri takes it from Suguha, moving over to sit on her bed and stare at it for a few moments, suspiciously. ]

I still can't see something like this being completely safe even with a fail-safe built in. It's hooking up with your brainwaves after all, isn't it? I'm not really a tin-foil hat kind of girl but I can't believe no one freaked out over this before something bad happened.

[ Suguha sighs, leaning back against her bed as she takes the other one out of the box. ]

I... I really don't understand it either. I guess everyone just figured that the types of games from this stuff was worth the risk?

[ She paused, thinking about it. ]

... I really hope this can't really screw with your thoughts though. I mean, beyond letting you see the game. The problem with the NerveGear was that the microwave transmitter could fry the brain... but I think stopping that's the only thing they fixed with this.

If there are other problems with it...

We'll have to hope there aren't. If there are, I can probably get through whatever it is, but...

[ Suguha's alive, so if anything happens there's a problem. ]

It's worth the risk, right?

Of course it's worth it. My brother's stuck in there. I just can't leave him in there when I can help.

[ Though finding out if she could help needed to be done first... ]

Then I won't tell you not to do it, but we'll try everything on me first to make sure. I'm already dead, after all.

[ She's not going to argue that since they're trying to rescue her brother she should be taking most of the risk, but well... Yuri did have a point. Hopefully these things won't be able to do things to her that harm her too. After all, there didn't seem to be much different between Yuri and her despite the Yuri being dead. ]

I'm sure I'll be fine though!

[ Yuri smiles. There isn't much different except for the fact that Yuri could take an axe to the head and be okay in a couple of hours. ]

[ Suguha shakes her head. Well, worrying about it wasn't going to help, that was for sure. ]

Okay. I'll take your word for it. I mean, you'd know what's able to hurt you more than I ever could, right?

Hey, I was planning on just getting a hold of some dead person's NervGear if you didn't pull through with this and having someone off me every now and then to get me out. I'm not worried about getting hurt.

... I'm just going to be glad that this worked out then. Assuming that we can use it to get into the game anyway.
