Has...anyone else been feeling strange these last couple of days?

[Taki's face pops up on the community today, but she doesn't look like she's in the best state of mind right now. If one were to look close enough, they could see dark rings forming around her eyes, but she doesn't seem to mind it much, or think much of it. She thinks a youkai is doing this to her, which is why she doesn't want to reveal too much, or have Natsume scold her about it. But either way...]

I've been finding myself a bit restless these past couple of days. I couldn't go to bed last night, and I don't think I can today, either. I've been nodding off a bit in class, but...sleep just won't come. I'm wondering if this is one of "virus" things that the community talks about often. It seems a bit far fetched, I know, but...I can't help, but ask at least.

[She seems to stare at the camera a bit, seeming a bit distant for a moment, eyes widening as she realizes she's zoning out once more.]

...um, sorry...for being like this. I've been seeing some things too... [And not of the cute kind, either.] ...I guess I just wanted to get some thoughts off of my mind concerning this...if anyone else is experiencing this, can you please tell me? If not, then I must be losing my mind...

[But she's still letting out a solemn smile, regardless.] ...Um, but I should be fine...I can get back sleep sometime later. Thanks for listening to me...

[And again, she nods off, herself unconsciously turning off the feed.]

To get an edge in battle without having to fight, one person fed his Monster innocent people instead of the energy of other defeated Monsters. When he found out one of my friends was connected to everything, he kidnapped her. Another person kidnapped her later to get to me. And then there's the guy who's only in this for the thrill of fighting, and he killed two other Riders.

[Her brows seem to be ruffled at that, as she lets out a little gasp.]

B-but...that's horrible. Why would people do that...? Feeding innocent people and killing others...that's...

It's the Rider War of my world. Everyone's fighting in order to grant a wish--sometimes it's your last hope for something. Everyone's willing to do whatever it takes to get it, but some are willing to go beyond that.

All of this for a wish...? I'm surprised to see how far greed will take some people...if I may ask, what is your wish for...whatever reason...

My fiancee is in a coma, and she doesn't have much time left. A year, at most.

T-That's...I'm sorry that such a thing has happened, I wish her the best, and you for the time to come...so you want her to be safe...I think that's pretty admirable, if you ask me.

...how are you progressing in this war? I take it you must be faring well?

Someone I eventually respected didn't even want to fight if he could help it. He was trying to stop the fighting.

I'm doing fine so far. Haven't had to kill anybody, so I guess that's good.

So there are people who don't want to fight...how are you chosen to be a...what was it, a Kamen Rider...?

Hm. I'm glad you haven't killed anyone yet. But if the situation changed...?

Even then, usually they're not chosen--they just find the deck by chance.

If it came to it...I wouldn't let her die.
