Okay, that took a lot less time than I thought it would.

So after working pretty much nonstop after I got back and everything--and a certain somebody's Rider War spilling over onto Mirinoi--we managed to get electricity and everything restored to what we're now calling Terra Venture City. We're still working out a few bugs here and there, and the villagers are really helping out--and the other Rangers and I are working hard to act as liaisons between both cultures.

And I've got a few embarassing stories about how things really didn't work out so well at first, but I've been working on cataloguing the native plants and helping figure out nutritional stuff, so I really need a break. What's going on with everyone?

That's great! Are you trying anything new, or do you have the same plans as last year?

Well I've got to shape up the new students for the team, and then see what kind of things I can mooch off Kanade in between meals.

Of course. Has she thought about holding a bake sale or something to help your team?

You know that's not a bad idea. I could ask if they're willing to do that.

Then let me know when it happens. I'm sure by then, I'll be dying for some Earth-style sweets.

Thanks. And I'll have to ask Kaitou or somebody to drop off some fruit from Mirinoi to you guys. I'm sure Kanade will find something interesting to bake with them.

Outer space fruit huh? That actually sounds really delicious actually. I'm sure Kanade would love the challenge!

I'll be careful what to send, though. Some is extremely different from what we're used to on Earth.

Yeah, the last thing you want to do is make a demand for it out here in my world.

Less that problem and more things like, oh, fruit that ripens fermented. That was an experiment.

I think I lucked out that that war thing just went after the afterlife in terms of my world...s [ That last plurality seemed like an afterthought. She's not even sure where she considers 'home' at this point. ] It sounds like things are looking up where you are though.

You have plants that need cataloguing? You should call that weird chubby troll thing, he seems like the kind of guy who's into plants.

Hmm, that might be a good idea. After I get some testing done to see how safe everything is, I'd be happy to give some to everyone.

I ended up completely hammered from eating a few berries that, as it turns out, ferment instead of ripening on a tree. I'm really glad the community didn't broadcast the hangover.

I literally don't have anything to do half the time that I can blow time helping other people with their problems, I should be able to manage better jokes.

Maybe you should get a beta-tester for your jokes? That way, only the best get through.
