Derris-Kharlan is silent, not even Mithos lives any longer to offer conversation. I feel as though this isolation could cause me to lose my mind in much the same way he did...Perhaps a community on this Internet device might provide distraction enough to keep me sane.

...Looking at some of these websites, I might have chosen the wrong venue for sanity.

In all honesty, I didn't expect to find myself in such a place either. Apparently I underestimated my reliance on other people. I never used to be one for socialising, but being alone can make you rearrange your thoughts somewhat.

Changing laws does not change people. Legally people may not be allowed prejudices, but they will still carry them. Half-elves will be considered inferior for many years to come, especially on Tethe'alla. Generations will pass before they can be truly considered free of judgement.
