So, I was watching Red Dawn (power fist to the Wolverines), when I realized I needed a new hobby.

Now, since I have big fat man ankles, dancing's out of the frickin' question, and I sing like a tone deaf whale in a death clamp, that pretty much limits me.

So, I'm uh, up for any suggestions.

Ice skating, tennis, soft ball?

Ice skating would be fun if it weren't in the middle of July, and we don't all have awesome impossible crazy icey freezey powers, unfortunately.

And last time I played softball they threw the bat and hit me in the back of the head, I still can't remember how to pronounce February.

And, Tennis requires two people, and everyone's so frickin' busy lately we'd never get to play.

Yeah and I think the pond melted already... You thought they where awesome? :D

If you don't want to get hurt suppose you could play Wii sports... But then again you'd need to watch the Wii motes. Some of them are defective, ya know.

This place is kind of a hobby all on its own.

I guess they do, but those things always kind've bored me, the 500 peice puzzles were always so easy, and those with like 10,000 peices are always annoying because they frickin' look alike. My gran did those, she used to put together puzzles of clear blue sky, it was crazy.

Yeah, kind of, but I've never been much of a blogger.

Well you could always...actually I don't get out of the house much anyway, kind of a computer geek. I'm not sure what people..do exactly.

Oh god I know what you mean about the porno, the SG-3 marines got some wierd ideas into their heads when they smoked some sort of offworld drug they were offered.

Maybe you could get into some form of art? Or there's sports, self defense....I don't know if it counts as much of a hobby, but I used to do a bit of collecting.

Ugh, last time I took up painting I ruined three pairs of clothes, a set of drapery, and a cheap shag rug.

Self defence? Hmm, now there's a thought.

That's an inevitable danger that comes with every art field.

A friend of mine used to take classes when she was younger. She seemed to enjoy it well enough, if her constant need to demonstrate what she learned was any indication.

I suggest traveling. Its fun to get out and see more of the world... I hadn't realised how big the world was until I got shipped to the other side of the continent.

Well... Do you like things that involve moving a lot? Or do you prefer to stay still?

A hobby? What about rollerblading?

Maybe drawing? Making stuff? Like bracelets or necklaces? Collecting something ya like dudette? Like some people collect random stuff, bottle caps, pencils, action figures? All I can think up right now.

Can't believe no one's suggested photography yet. It's pretty fun and it gives you an easy way to record stuff.
