[Aaaaand here is your resident Doctor's take on the situation!]

... You know, I'm getting a rather strange feeling of deja vu. Is it just me, or is this the second virus that we've had twice now? I know that time travel can mess with your sense of how much you've seen things, but this is just getting ridiculous now.

I don't know about the rest of you, but if you ask me, the community's running out of ideas.

...

I see. That would complicate things.

Ah nothing wrong with a little bondage now and again, Doctor.

Indeed. I'm glad I wasn't hit by either myself. Times like this I'm glad that the Geass doesn't work through the Internet.

There's a virus?

[identity profile] wingsoffate.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose you're right...

At least it is reassuring that I know my family to be real.

(OOC: *is totally not virused at all* >.>)
philoxidizes: (can't be helped)

I hadn't noticed anything wrong, myself. Perhaps I've escaped being affected by this one.

[identity profile] wingsoffate.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes...?

[identity profile] godisagirl.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Those people are probably just upset because they don't have real brothers.

[identity profile] nonesodangerous.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I hadn't noticed. But then again, my family's having its own problems at the moment, so it's not surprising.
philoxidizes: (are you pondering what I'm pondering?)

[personal profile] philoxidizes 2008-07-26 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Quite true. Although most viruses have had some sort of conscious component to them, I suppose it's not out of the question for one to occur that would effectively remove our knowledge of ever having been different.

On the other hand, perhaps it's you who are affected.

[identity profile] geass-rebel.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I have no idea, Doctor. I'm still somewhat new to the community. But yes, you would think that it would've come up with some more original ideas...

[identity profile] wingsoffate.livejournal.com 2008-07-26 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course... my wife, and our two sons. And my brother.

Is there a problem?

It would work both ways, wouldn't it? Either the people you think are affected have lost all memory of their unaffected selves, or you yourself have false memories of them. There's really no way to be sure.
