I've been gone a while from this place, haven't I? Actually, there's a funny story about that. A small planet called Betelgeuse IV. It's the only planet left orbiting the star Betelgeuse. The other three got swallowed up when it became a red supergiant. Anyway, it was interesting. The humans living there had a terraformming device on them. Don't think they were bargaining on a 1960s police box landing... well, as a matter of fact I think I landed in the middle of a church. On a Sunday. Holy ground, holy place, landing a TARDIS in the middle of it wasn't one of my best ideas. One of you lot better remind me never to land on a Sunday again. They're either extremely boring or you end up having to talk your way out of a tight spot with an entire congregation threating you with holy water. Honestly, religion has a lot to answer for.

So. What have I missed?

Mmm, it was a bit. Luckily I managed to talk my way out of it before they stopped with the holy water and started with the incense, so there was no harm done there.

There was an animal virus, got myself turned into a puppy, but nothing much out of the ordinary. I think two witches showed up, too.

How is it possible that the human species is so widespread throughout the universe? Even if this should be far from a future I would recognize, the idea of rampant yet fragmented colonization of a single species remains to be one which is quite illogical.
