So today was eventful!

Not only was there this huge fire in California that we helped to put out, but some dude who called himself Enigma Man decided that he wanted to take over the world with his mysteriousness. 'Course, it wasn't just that, otherwise it would have been no big deal. No, this guy had some crazy shadow powers or something. Reeeeally easy to lose track of. One minute he was there, then suddenly he was gone, hiding in plain sight or something. And then he'd leap out of another shadow fifty feet away, and, well, that was a pain. It's not really easy to hit a guy if he doesn't stop dodging.

I should know, I do it all the time.

In hindsight, the shadow thingy itself was pretty cool, except the dude wouldn't shut up about how mysterious he was and how no one would be able to defeat him because he was so straaaange and unknooooown and all that stuff. It was, to use the understatement of the century, annoying.

But anyway, Enigma Man is all defeated and stuff... I guess we'll leave it to the cops and the government to decide how the hell they're going to keep him locked up.

So now it's my turn at monitor duty waaaaay up in the Watchtower. Don't worry, Batman, I'm totally paying attention, really I am.

((OOC: Yes, I totally get to make up supervillains because I'm taking Flash from between Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. XDD I thought the idea was awesome, shut up.))

Sounds interesting.

Leave things to the government? Ha ha ha!

'Enigma Man'? That is so lame. It sounds like some stupid super-villain from some stupid American comic.

Enigma Man? Wow, super villians are seriously lacking in creativity these days aren't they?

((ooc: This is me dying. Enigma Man. AMAZZZZZZZING.))

You've got a point there. But if some guy named Insano Man pops up any time soon, I'll have lost all respect for super villians.

In my time, they work more against the people than for them.

It was destroyed when most of the human race was.

Did you turn in a report?

[identity profile] the-air-corsair.livejournal.com 2008-08-28 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
A few scattered countries. What's left of them, anyway. There was a lot of reorganization after the war. Most countries have the same few people controlling behind the scenes, though.

Lex Luther. And yet his name doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of millions does it? It's like, 'Oooo look! My name is an alliteration~!'

[identity profile] goddamnedknight.livejournal.com 2008-08-28 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's your attention span that's worrying.

[identity profile] mediator-suze.livejournal.com 2008-08-28 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
I bet. I'd much rather stick to my usual 'enemies' than deal with a crazed, evil millionare. Billionare? I don't know, one of those 'nares' I'm sure.

Yes, mankind tried to create an improved version of itself, and they were turned on us.
