An exciting first day of secrets, wasn't it? I do have to wonder if some aspects are more hurtful than helpful, though. There seems to be a certain amount of trauma involved for many people, and I'm unsure of the amount of closure anyone can really achieve without openly stating what they think. After all, it all depends on the receiving party actually recognizing that the secret in question is relevant to them, doesn't it?

I suppose that's true. Still, putting your feelings on display for people to poke and prod at is something I would find very uncomfortable.

Closure, in regards to some issues, may never be achieved. Catharsis might be the only reachable goal.

I would not claim that fallacy as truth. In many instances, closure may be achieved.

Yet it is not always possible, despite even a person's most strident efforts.

It's certainly a source of paranoia, with a few secrets. I wouldn't be surprised if some people made false secrets entirely for that purpose.

Those people are the types that cause random riots in social events, if only to slip away in the middle of it and watch the rest of the chaos.

Bad experience is one way to put it. Although it did lead me to the truth in the end.
