I apologize. I'm not sure how to introduce myself to people. Part of growing up in a small village, I suppose. Luckily, I am versed in the tongues of Hyrule and good at writing out my thoughts, or so I am told.

I'll start by explaining why I joined. It seems this community is a means of communicating with worlds beyond the dominion of the Triple Goddess. Worlds from across space and across time. I was looking at the names of people who were already here and there was one name that stuck out: Mine.

It could be a coincidence but I somehow doubt it. Some people claim their earliest memories are of being born. My earliest memory is myself holding a sword and watching some terrible being tumble away into a sealed existence, the Triforce burning overhead. This first memory is dark and fireshot. The memory is not mine. You could say that it is less a memory than a dream of the past, something in the blood, something recalled from him, it may be, when he still bore me inside his body. I believe such things are possible. So it seems only right that I should come and seek he who was before me and who will be after I am gone.

I know this all sounds strange but I cannot explain it all just now. Someday you may understand. But until then. . .I am Link, Bastard of Ordona and the Hero of Light. My shadow is here too. And I apologize for anything she may have said and anything she doubtlessly WILL say in the future.
