A fascinating holiday. I find it quite interesting how it no longer is centered around the original purpose, which was to drive out demons and evil spirits, but has rather begun to concentrate on disguises and masks.

Perhaps, in our own way, we have discovered that the true demons are ourselves.

And that leads to another interesting question... are we attempting to expose our inner demons in an attempt to drive them out, or are we celebrating our own personal evils?

But don't let me spoil the celebrations with my philosophical quandaries. Go out and have fun!
