If there is anything more infuriating than being woken up at an ungodly hour of the morning, dropped half-naked on an uncivilized planet and then being expected to play chess against giant singing rocks...I would prefer to avoid it if at all possible. There is such a thing as too much excitement in one day.

That being said, this variant of chess is quickly getting boring for all parties involved, and a bit of variation would be useful.

Do your worlds have any interesting puzzle-games? Chess, cards, tumbledice...surely there are variants in your worlds that do not exist in mine.

36; opera stars; who let a dragon in here; not going soft shut up
[Kefka and Kasumi seem to be at a play. A rather fancy play, with singing and fabulous costumes, and it is being held in one fancy opera house - it's got gold, silver, red velvet curtains, the works. Kefka's as incognito as he can get, in pale blue make up and frilly, bright blue clothing; Kasumi sits beside him in a pink kimono.]

[The play is interrupted when a dragon waltzes onstage and starts roaring. (Dragon, T-Rex, same difference.) The actors flee; so does part of the audience. Another part, though, is taking this as part of the show; this includes Kefka, who is still munching on his popcorn like nothing's gone wrong. Kasumi, meanwhile, is leaning away from the stage with wide eyes. She leans over and asks Kefka:]

Are we really not going to do anything about this?

[Kefka shrugs.]
Nah, the dragons can do what they want. They don't listen to me. Besides, it's not like she's hurting anyone.

If you are sure.
[She keeps on staring; the dragon is stomping around onstage now. Kefka adds:]

The elemental dragons are not under my command, anyway. They obey Kaiser Dragon, who is - I don't know where she is. Sleeping or something. Who knows.

Shouldn't we be on our way, then...? Or are they a danger to those who flee?

Nah, we're fine. We can just walk out. Earth Dragon just wants to perform on stage like a real opera star. Poison Dragon, who moved into my tower, told me all about it.

[Kasumi perks up.]

She is doing an interesting performance, isn't she?

She is, yeah! This is the best show I've seen in years! Hee hee hee...

[Kefka passes the popcorn.]

video (time to troll the monk aka a normal Thursday evening)
[Have one Hakkai, sitting rather calmly in what looks to be a bar, sipping at something murky in a glass. Around him are signs of chaos, including a man passed out on the bar next to him, several broken glasses and what looks to be a small fire.

Enjoy.]

You know, it never ceases to amaze me. So many people lack simple social graces. What a shame.

Curry is a very dangerous food: make sure someone who can actually cook was the one who made it before you eat any kind of curry.

This has been a public service announcement.

((Ic-ly dated a few days after this post.))

Hey everyone.

The case is over. In the end we faced a god. One of the family members, Nao-san, was killed and many people were hurt...

But their home should be safe now. No one else should get hurt.

I don't know when I'll get home next, but I'll let you guys know.

[Mai is avoiding video because she is an emotional mess right now. yep.]
