It's getting a little boring around here. By that, I mean everybody's busy preparing for the sports festival and I have no idea what I'm doing. I was too sickly when I was younger to do any sports... [ The video starts with Buffy looking... well, frankly, hella surprised. Eyes wide, because the book just popped up with a screen and ohmygod it's recording her. ]

[ Buffy looks around for someone else, since she'd gone into the back for a few minutes, but-- Oh, wait, what if this is all in her head? What if she's some kind of crazy person who sees stuff in books and the others are so going to think that Joan is a looney. So she just... shuts the book. Video off for all of two seconds until she opens it up again, making a little whining sound because it's definitely not gone. Okay, okay. Maybe the crazy book can help. Buffy runs off behind some bookshelves and starts whispering. ]

Okay, uh-- mirror mirror on the wall? Or, book. It looks like there are other people on this thing so, uh. Anyone... you know-- know who I am?

[ look at this familiar face! it takes her moment to get her camera focused, but she's back at home in her beautiful castle that...looks like it's a mess behind her. fortunately, there's no scratches on her or else she would be so much more pissed. once she's got the camera working, she smiles and gives a small wave ]
